After having my own daughter who is now 2, I now find this film very difficult to watch, the scenes are so real and painful I actually mourn Neil’s daughter, it also makes me think of my daughter. I have never empathised so much with a character and movie, It feels so real to me that I struggle to watch it without getting upset.
I was getting the same feelings. My daughter was even younger than yours and First Man somehow made me love her even more. Being a father or a parent gives you additional "depth" of the depicted events in the movie.
I lay down in darkness and let this flow to my mind, i feel the music and see it in colors sending shivers down my spine.I feel sad but clear at the same time.
I'm in love with Neil and his history. A brilliant man, who lost his only daughter to a terrible disease before he could walk on the Moon. What an exceptional man, no other human could beat Neil kindness and love for walk on another celestial body for the first time. To never be forgotten, Neil. From Earth to the stars.
Les câlins dans les cheveux de son petit ange puis le bruit du mécanisme de poulie pour le cercueil m'a choqué. Beaucoup de souffrance dans cette très belle scène. J'ai la musique dans la tête depuis et cette scène affreuse.
In 1993 my wife and I tried to start a family through artificial insemination, but it didn't work. And how does it feel to have lost 3 babies at once and with no visible bodies, just in our imaginations of what they would be like many years later? Watching the movie we fully understand what Neil and Janet felt, but at least they had the right to grieve in front of family and friends, and we didn't.

Beautiful soundtrack and very emotional scenes
This music will go down in record as one of the greatest soundtrack of a movie ever
For those yet to discover it,
I hope you soon will.

To never be forgotten, Neil. From Earth to the stars.
You are 90 percent true but dont forgot that every apollo astronaut is a unique Hero with a unique story.
Makes no sense to compare them.
c’est devenue mon song préférée...

anyone know title of the music at 15:00
It's Justin Hurwitz "Home". The title refers to Juniper Hills, CA, where Armstrongs lived in 1956-1962.
@@TranceParadise you're a fucking legend, thanks man.
