Tyler Childers is without a doubt one of the best things happening in country music right now, and for a long time. I grew up with this genre and it's so great to see it come to such an incredible place as it has lately. We're living in a beautiful country and all associated genres renaissance.

I grew up with my great grandmother (95 years young and still playing) hosting a local bluegrass festival in our rural Canadian village and can not be more grateful that the tradition of bluegrass and sharing stories through song is thriving in the ultra digital modern age. Art doesn’t die, it adapts. Childers is without a doubt one of the best things happening in music, period.

I am very glad seeing him featured on this channel - great taste as always. Childers rough solo acoustic performances of Nose On The Grindstone and White House Road from his “early phase” are truely something else and blew me away when I listened to them the first time. Revisiting them from time to time gives me some very welcome catharsis.

It's my 50th birthday today, and Justin, you just gave me the best present ever! Tyler is from eastern Kentucky and my hometown. Tyler is a great artist with many albums under his belt. Many of his songs talk about the area and he is a brilliant country artist that reminds people what country music can be when done well. You should check out his songs "Whitehouse Road", "House Fire", "Bus Route", "Feathered Indians", and "All Your'n". I could go on and on with his many songs and albums. Enjoy your journey with his music and thank you for having an open and inclusive mind to all music.

His stage presence reminds me of “Oh Brother Where Art Thou”, a throw back to radio times when the voice and music were out front and stage craft came later. There’s a world of unique (Watchhouse - formerly known as Mandolin Orange) as well as accessible (Chris Stapleton has been very successful with mainstream hits, the work he does in conjunction with his wife Morgane takes their talents to new heights) true Country. Sadly there are plenty of poseurs and country-popsters.

Some country licks are spicy as anything - great way to expand the ol' lick library

Love your work, Justin! If you want a recommendation to react to, give Crazy Lixx a listen, they're proper 80s rock. The Power (it's got some whoa whoa bits in it), or Girls of the 80s are definites.
