Im pretty sure that was their plan. They most likely wanted to get kuzenbo out of the way. His ult is so disrupting. The problem became it wasnt working well and they didnt change. They kept the same gameplan the whole time.

Its interesting but jmacs talking abt how a team needs only 1 teamfight lategame to go right to make a comeback is actually why i stopped watching smite. Like season 6/7 i dont remember which, maybe sanguine season 2, all the teams start playing for this lategame fg teamfight -> pheonix teamfight. It was dull to watch icl
Yeah. After they killed eu scene in season 6-7 everything was boring till 30-40 minutes in the game. Nothing before mattered anymore and it's the same till today. Boring to watch until the one fight that decides a 50 minute game even with 15k gold deficit and 20 kills ahead........
