  • Every winter, the Bay of Saint-Brieuc welcomes some 35,000 birds in search of food and peace and quiet. But as soon as spring arrives, these migratory birds head back to the Far North, leaving the bay to transform itself into a veritable resting place where Corlieu, Harriers, Spoonbills, Sandpipers... stop off. The dunes are adorned with hundreds of orchids. In summer, seagulls and terns flock to the shores. Then, at the end of summer, the first migrants begin their return to the bay.
The conservation challenges are many and constant throughout the year. Let's work together to preserve the bay and its remarkable biodiversity.
