I remember waaaay back as a kid maybe eight I spent an afternoon at Nanna's house stripping sparklers and putting the dust into a little paper 'firecracker' looking things with fuses made out of string and melted wax. Didn't work but Nanna helped enable my pyromania the whole time. My Nanna's awesome. She even got me Vice City a few years later. Still don't let her live it down.

You should be using red sparklers because of the Magnesium the flame burns up for better compression and using strapping tape it's strong and doesn't stretch. Black tape and Duct tape stretches and will "muffle" the boom. Tin foil is not needed. White tape works too but needs a bit more. Using any tape that snaps when pulled but not stretch when pulled will work a 1000 times better. Reasons why they quit selling red sparklers on the 4th. Every now and then I'll get lucky and find some but the red t&t brand is the best. This is something I know quite well!!

It's true, making a sparkler bomb is not only illegal but also Lame compared to real fireworks but I have respect for this guy, he knows what he wants and is cleaver enough to find alternatives.

for a loud bang take two packs wrap with electrical tape. make sure it's tight but not breaking the sparklers. they will shake windows
