      Yes indeed. Back when printed timetables were STILL a thing and should NEVER have been taken away. It's faster than looking up a schedule on a smartphone. Back when Amtrak ran full dining cars on its eastern routes and treated customers ethically in that way. Back when NJ Transit hadn't RUINED the interior design of its Comet cars by removing the more comfortable brown seats and replacing them with the putrid blue-ish color with harder cushion/seats they use now. Back when payphones were still there for those who NEEDED them (even today not everyone has a cell phone, and what do you do if your phone dies and you need to make an emergency call??).
      So much stupidity today and things aren't much better. I miss the past.

    Huh, So there was no direct Long Beach service in this time? Interesting. Perhaps they ran from Brooklyn or Jamaica. Nice vid. Not much has changed since physically speaking. Just a ton people glued to their phones now.

      probably went to Flatbush Ave Brooklyn at the time
