Can you do a video about clarinet upgrades that improve the tone? Like mouthpieces, barrels and ligatures. What kind you use? Do you have any favourites and what do you recommend? Thanx. 😊🌷
Have you ever tried the Yamaha 0.5mm mouthpiece patch? I currently use It and It's my favourite of all (BG's 0.8mm, Vandoren 0.8mm..) It's ideal thickness and most importantly, teeth grip VERY GOOD on the material of this patch!!!
@@callyclarinet How does thickness alter the sound or playability? I thought thicker patches are better since it's less vibration going through your teeth/skull
Sorry about that, thanks for checking out my channel, though. You can slow down the video (upper right hand corner of the video you can select "playback speed") and it will not affect the pitch! A student of mine showed me told me about that feature last year. Super helpful to use when practicing stuff with RUclips videos. Good luck - hope to see you around 🙂🎶
These exercises are great thank you so much. I have just practiced them and will add to my warm up practice routine.
I need to do these exercises over & over& over again. I dont know a lot of these alternate fingerings.
OMG THANK YOU SO MUCH IM AUDITIONING FOR ALL STATE AND THESE WILL HELP!
I definitely need to try these. Thanks!

No, didn’t know they made one! I’ve been using the super thin Vandoren one, 0.35mm.

@@markowalski1 i go back and forth between the two. i think it does more for how it feels to the player. what do you prefer?
this is actually really helpful but i have a hard time reading music sheets, i just hope theres some easy to read notes
I know this may be a super late comment, but there are no ‘easier’ notes. U have to learn ur notes
What fingering do you use for high G?
My fingering for chromatic high G is thumb, register key, L1, RH sliver key, plus RH pinky on the Ab/Eb key
Beleza professora a senhora bacana!
Too fast for beginners
Agreed
