Thanks for the review. I had the app since they first came on the scene but not much choices near me so deleted it like 5 months ago...might take another look. Curious if any of the workers gave you weird looks or acted like they didn't know about the app?
You should see what you get in the UK Too Good to Go orders. They're insane. One lady had in her box she got in her local grocery were: 2 x 8 pack boxes of Capri Sun, 6 pack box of Fever Tree tonic water, 2 packs of custard doughnuts, 6 packets of crisps. 2 packs of part-baked rolls. Tinned goods. A aluminium turkey tray, Christmas gift bags and oddly 2 unopened vinyl records. All of that was £3.09 which is $3.76.
10 seconds in and I'm already cracking up lmao. Tbh, the app can be a hit or miss depending on what you have around you. And things are still being added and improved. I've used this app before a while back and there weren't much to choose from. I did quickly check the app and looks like they added a lot more restaurants in my hood
Thank you so much for the video! I just found out about the app here a couple days ago but I'm a very skeptical person but I decided to look up RUclips videos and I saw yours so I decided to give it a quick and I'm very surprised with what you got now it does suck that some places were closed but for the price that you paid to get the food you got from the places that were open is outstanding to me. I'll definitely give this a shot. Thank you.
@3:55 I know the menu labels it as such, but that is clearly NOT a calzone. What you got there is a stromboli. A calzone is like a big-ass empanada stuffed with cheese. A stromboli is a meat and cheese tube. I even doubled checked with google images to makes sure I wasn't completely insane. Is this a steamed hams type of regional thing!?
THere's no way is that first place with the one slice of pizza and calzone three times the value. This has been my experience with this app. You get stale food almost always at retail price. Same with the four bowls you got, it seems they missed the point that you are supposed to get three times the value. Seems like you arent for the most part.
I would say the app is good for people who can barely afford food. Why? The options are Slim and a lot of establishments only choose the food that is getting old. Even a little profit on something that no customer would normally buy is better than none cuz they threw it away. Just like most of the heavily discounted stuff at the grocery store is all going bad
nice video! i notice you live in the boston area as well! im from everett and will be trying out this app tonight, going to pick up some brazilian food soon!
I hope more options come to me soon. It’s all coffee shops and donut shops in Newport Coast, CA. I know it’s not urban like NY or LA, where there are more options- but hoping for more than just pastries to come soon
I saw someone post an order they received from a taqueria. They got a to-go container full of dried chicken. Place had a 3.4 so at least the rating system works
You said it wasn't for everyone, well not always true, I cant eat rice/pasta/noodles and yes sometimes I end up with it in my bag BUT I have dogs so its a win win
holy cow. i love singapore fried noodles. in toronto, it's $16.95 pre pandemic, for a serving nowhere near that! they gave you freakin' 2 orders' worth! that indian food. smack me. the frozen stuff is more expensive with mostly basmati, and looks shitty next to your order
This is 2 years on, and the closed shop issue is solved but the vegan and vegetarian option isnt. The stores cannot see so I got a bag of raw chicken which i couldnt eat.
I tried it and while you get some decent food, i honestly don't think it's worth. i'd rather buy a $5 aldi cake than get like.. two graduation sugar cookies and some random stuff i don't care for 6.99 xD the bakery ones seem completely "meh" for the value .
Any other good food apps out there? Let us know!

Too good to go just added Whole Foods

That's not real food
@@Ena48145 if you're struggling it's better than nothing
@arm7028 those are selected as corner shop bags. So not a restaurant choice on the app
Then she had heart attack eating crap like that
0.0
i swear this app is low key great if you live in urban areas. you earned a sub
They just added Whole Foods prepared food to my area
I do have to say that the app is really good about refunding you if the location is closed or turns out they run out of food after you've reserved.
This is definitely one of the best videos on RUclips. Genuine and funny.
That's definitely not an app fail... that's a restaurant communication / obligation fail.
I use the app today. And these people had attitudes like we was bothering them. Do they sign up for this . And aware these is what it is . Lol
Just found this video when I was searching too good to go. You're local to me so it's cool seeing you try some local places.

Take a photo of the closed sign or door and the app will refund

Can u do a follow up video to see if changes are made? Or if the experience is different from before?
This is so cool can’t wait for more restaurants in my area to start using it. But when I visit SF looks like I’ll have a lot of options
"this apple is (ashy) like Kevin Durant". Love it. Subbed.

Those bowls in my nabe retail for about $15 each, so I'm not sure what you're on about..
Good to see that Guru Indian is on the app. I remember it being very good when I was living in Boston. Nice variety of food covered in the video.
My local area only has donuts and pastries shop😅😅
Your videos are informative, entertaining and funny. Well done 👍 Please post more if you can and I hope yr channel explodes 😊

Happy New Year awesome video but hey where's the OG Grandpa? Is that your girlfriend behind the camera? Aloha from Kansas
Singapore noodles are criminally underrated , very hard to find in the Rockies
I saw someone post an order they received from a taqueria. They got a to-go container full of dried chicken. Place had a 3.4 so at least the rating system works
Tried it out many years ago in NYC and they just had trash food. Hopefully it's gotten better
Do most places take the app or do you call ahead ? Does the app list places to go. Very interesting.
The app lists the places and you order from it
Thanks for covering people of varied diet choices in yoour review.
That fruit would be handy for someone who makes juices and smoothies on a daily basis like me.
I downloaded this app and the only businesses participating in my area are coffee shops 😢
same!!!
Mine was a lot of donut places and bakeries. But Whole Foods is now on it
Yup!
@B_Bodziak... Tried them on Wednesday at $9.99.
Worse experience ever.
I'm deleting the app.
Amazing video! Watched the whole thing and all the meals were more than worth it
I'll have to check out that app. Doubt if any place in my town uses it.
This video was informative and funny asf
Damn, you are smart. Your grandpa must be proud.

Are you from Boston my friend!?
I like that sesame Street shirt hoody. U got on at 1625 😮😅😂🎉. Bert lol 😝
This is 2 years on, and the closed shop issue is solved but the vegan and vegetarian option isnt. The stores cannot see so I got a bag of raw chicken which i couldnt eat.
Randomly searched for too good to go videos and see you getting food from a place right up the street from me lol.
I tried the app for the first time today, it was $6 for Dot & Dough. I received 6 stale mochi donuts, definitely not worth it.
I tried it and while you get some decent food, i honestly don't think it's worth. i'd rather buy a $5 aldi cake than get like.. two graduation sugar cookies and some random stuff i don't care for 6.99 xD the bakery ones seem completely "meh" for the value .
is the good to go work on edmenton?
omg , if i could get brazilian food for that price every day i would be very happy
Wow that;s a lot of food for a good price. I love mash potatoes.. Great deal.. Good job boy.. Keep it up.
The only issue I would have I don’t eat Pork lol So how can I get around that
I just used this and I got a decent meal that would have cost me almost $20 for $5.99
What did you get?
Donde esta la biblioteca 💀
If the rice ain't sticky it's impossible to eat with chopsticks.
you know the app is good when the youtuber begs for a sponsorship lmao
It just came to Phx yay!
So no JG emblem?
The doggy!!!
I live in asia. I'm 50yo. What the hell is duck sauce??? We don't have that here, boi.
Madd from the remains of dead duck carcass after they harvest all the meat and organs and intestines, very famous cuisine in narnia
Don’t forget the bev.
This App is Definitely a Huge WIN!!!
The app gets 50% on what you pay so restaurants don't make anything on that
If you like surprises, george santos style, thisizit.
Lets be honest if you eat this crap every day your diet must suck
if you love donuts this is the app for you
Number 1 taste in Watertown
try today
2023
I really enjoyed everything second 😅😃
great vids but bro wash those fruits...
That indian ripped u off for 5 dollars
Lol they cheap
I’m distracted by your handsomeness ❤
Phoenix Arizona has very little store like 5 🥸
The whole of southwest Florida had 0, til this spring. Now, maybe 3 in a 50 mile radius, densely populated
