The way Aka could have exploited all the potential Kana gained during Tokyo Blade, in the Mainstay arc. The way he could have explored Kana's inner conflict as she debated between continuing her idol career or pursuing her dream of being an actress after her "star power" awakened. How her healing could have unfolded after her mother's abandonment. But then...Aka was just like "let's make Kana depressed about Aqua and Akane's relationship and let it all descend into chaos from there LOL" 😂
@@ZephyrRetro Bro nooo 😭That part was the worst of all. What was Aka's reason for making Kana almost sleep with a married man? That was so unnecessary? And during the movie arc, making Kana say she was jealous of Ruby's talent to be an IDOL? A profession that Kana has never had a passion for? Aka just overused Kana's inferiority complex, which had already been successfully explored and better developed in the Tokyo Blade arc. The way Aka turned Kana's character into his punching bag hurts so much, I almost wish that in the anime they could change the story a bit for the next seasons 😓
@pau0002 so true tbh I'm do glad someone gets it here. I always get so much shit for mentioning this but kana had so much potential than just an "option" for the Mc. The scandal arc didn't make sense one bit cause you'd think someone as modest as kana would reject that mf Shima for more reasons than just aqua. This honestly makes me want aqukana to not happen, just so kana can have some spotlight alone even for just a little bit before the manga ends
RIP Kana Arima from the Tokyo Blade arc 🙏 your potential will never be forgotten 😔🙌. It wasn't your fault that Aka made your role as the leader of B-Komachi decline so that it was “natural” for Ruby to outshine you, and then just ended up relegating you to the role of the hopeless romantic who suffers for a boy. The crazy power you would have had if, instead of getting depressed, you were filled with fury and passion and went back to your acting career to show Aqua that you no longer want to be his idol. It would have been…so good 🤌✨
It's been so long since I read this arc that I've forgotten about it completely. Good to know that you're doing narrations on Oshi No Ko's arcs just like other anime RUclipsrs like Diavolo and co. explaining the later arc of popular anime series. It really helps me to catch up to the manga of the animes I watch.
16:58 I like how Ruby is the one that caused the controversy to happen she knew exactly what was going to happen. Ruby did all the dirty work and faced zero consequences for her actions. She was the one who caused the problem to happen. Every other characters were forced to apologize for what happened, but Ruby managed to get away, scot-free without facing zero consequences. The other characters don’t even know that Ruby was the one Who caused the problem to happen in the first place, and she managed to get away without facing zero consequences for action, and instead became more popular because of this that’s how good of a manipulator aqua and Ruby are
@@ZephyrRetro i once saw a few people said that this is one of the boring arc once because.... its no longer about revenge. @@ZephyrRetrohello Zephyr, RUclips pretty much didn’t let me make comments for 24 hours for whatever reason. I put out a comment just now in case you were curious.
That one page of this arc brought me to tears (it was not shown in this video but I really do not want to see her like that again). The one that has the line 'I...couldn't save him after all." That scene would be the saddest part of season 3... I want to give her a hug after that...
One thing i realised today, in this anime.... the star power which they talk about works so well that even viewers are also tricked...few months ago everyone started showing sympathy for Hikaru (even after knowing he's the root cause of all stuff).... Now with the latest chapter after all that yapping its confirmed that hikaru is the main villain after all...He really manipulated them so well like bro now we can say Oshi no ko has finally a true devilish and worthy villain as we expected in the starting of the anime.
We can't wait to see Hikaru's presence in the anime, today's episode implies his voice actor is Mamoru Miyano known for voicing Light Yagami in Death Note and Rintaro Okabe in Steins;Gate!
Also, you forgot to mention during this Arc they made a crossover with love is war around chapter 90 Kaguya made a physical appearance as a photographer for Ruby. That was one of the biggest shocking moments of the series that confirmed that both series are in the same universe I really hope they do another love is war and Oshi no ko crossover before the series ends 🤩
Sweet video, it’s actually called the Main Story Arc. 21:2925:46 at this point you can’t really defend anything that Aqua does after this point, because for one he just becomes more and more unlikable after everything he does to so many different people. Mainstay was the last good arc in oshi no ko for me. I love how dark it is i mean that break up with akane and aqua dark eyes coming off again were crazy. This arc really caused a weird feeling in my gut. It was more everyday issues and how greedy the showbis makes business. Ending with Aqua‘s and Akane‘s break up. Ruby I think had somewhat of dark tendencies which I saw as a overreaction.
Interesting how you saw it as an overreaction for Ruby, although I can’t necessarily disagree. I liked seeing her step into the dark side of the industry, but can admit it was a huge change for her character.
I felt sorry for Ai that it took Goro's death for her to react this way. 😅 You could say it's because this person took two people she cared about, but I think she would have reacted the same way if it was only Goro.
