The video corresponds 1:1 with the core meaning of the song. Kristian sings about the world that shakes us, for the fear of tomorrow and the deep waters we need to climb in order to survive. You know what happened in Stockholm, London, St. Petersburg this month. We still remember and won’t forget Nice, Istanbul, Berlin, Brussels, Paris… Europe is not a safe place anymore and we need to bring our hope back. And here is Kristian’s song about hope, backed by all of our efforts to get over the difficulties in our lives, because at the end of the day we cannot lose anything valuable if we carry love within our hearts. It isn’t only about the romantic love, but that type of love that bonds friends, families, society, nations in a time of struggle. Love is able to survive even up against the wall as he sings is his beautiful song, despite there are people who try to convince us just the opposite. When everything is dark we always find ways to survive both metaphorically and literally. This is why we see the fallen exhausted people (the beautiful mess), then people pulling the boat onshore (our hard efforts), the lantern (the guiding light), the fallen tree (our broken world), the black raven (the threat), the Kuker (traditional Bulgarian costumed man, fighting against the dark spirits in our folklore), the horse (Bulgarians, Hungarians and other European nations came to Europe by horses 1300 years ago and survived through many dangers thanks to their power); the vase - which is here to tell us that everything could be fixed; the broken clock which symbolizes there’s no specific time for both love and our need for it because this is a timeless subject. And also, the truck with those angry young people - symbol of the modern revolutions, that happen even in 2017. The white flag doesn't symbolize acquiescence but peace. And even those who say they don't understand the meaning of the video know very well what the pigeons are there for. Amazing dark video for a song that has deep meaning and a beautiful message to all of us! Probably the best this year.

Can we just talk about Bulgaria's history for a second? Our ancestors who still called themselves Bulgarians were around when the Roman Empire was still building its roots. We've been put to slavery, we've survived wars, we moved mountains, crossed rivers, produced many mathematicians, poets, inventors, and talents. This is what came out. Kristian Kostov happened in Bulgaria. We are underrated, but we are one of the oldest, richest (in history) nations to bravely walk this Earth. I applause and congratulate Portugal for their success on Eurovision, but this was the performance that should have won. There are so many talents in Bulgaria. We are going to prove ourselves, and Kostov just took a big step for us.
