Such deep lyrics and emotion for the age he wrote this song (20ish I think). Jonny has soul. One can find it within oneself, but usually it's something you're just born with. I think he was the latter. This song reminds me of one of the two 'loves of my life' and I used to listen to this often after our breakup. This song hit me hard back in the day, but it was what I needed at the time.

Ali Nehme I would have never gotten married, never had children and lived my life for myself instead of being a servant to others. I would have absorbed more of my surroundings, educated myself with the world, never gone to school to be dumbed down by its indoctrination and propaganda b/s, I would have built a small log cabin self sufficient, off the grid, stayed away from most folks as they are mostly self absorbed and selfish, having no common sense, and to dense to do any research to learn, as most are shut off from learning anything new. I love to learn, however life's circumstances and a few bad choices placed me in a prison of sorts, my wings were clipped so to speak. Ah to be young again.
Chad Mcfab I think you intended this for me rather than Ali Nehme, as I am the one who stated I was 62 at the time of my posting on Jonny Langs' video. I would not make the choice of living with someone ever again without being married. I had children, and I reasoned that you can't know how a man is going to treat your children TRULY unless you see them in a family setting, first hand. At the time I thought I was doing the right thing. I made that mistake as I had others in my life, and am certain to make more I'm sure, but it would if ever again be before Father, and not some preacher man whose only intent would be to ordain the union to get money out of someone or for the state, Father would be the witness and two others, that'd be it. Call that what you will, I know what it is. I certainly would not do so having only known someone for 3 weeks. WOW, you sound co dependent, or lacking self esteem or self reliant and/or possibly lacking self respect. I don't know which. It is not for me to say, decide or judge. That is only something you can figure out. Please don't think I am judging, as I dare not, nor am I labeling you. We each have our paths and mistakes to make in this life, but from someone who MAY be the wiser than you, and I say that with much emphasis MAY BE, and with concern as I certainly had no one to instruct or guide me in my journey, and now my journey is closing, wherefore IF I can impart any wisdom from my own trials and tribulations I do so, with some reservation, out of concern as a fellow human, and only to those, which may be willing to hear the wisdom and not be prideful or ego defensive. My intent is to help and not for strife, confusion or to upset, that has never been my goal. I love humanity, no matter the gender, no matter the race, no matter the color, or faith, I truly believe we are all of one, that being humanity. I disagree that most can live to be 98, those are they which have not suffered injury, or medical abuse, medical neglect, and/or physical abuses, nowadays I think most do suffer those thing, and in addition gmo's, chemtrails, the poisons in our everyday devices, all shorten our lives. Our grandparents lived to be those ripe ole ages I think because they WORKED, they stayed active, because they didn't sit around watching tv, playing computer games, sitting on their ars's, drinking, smoking, and expecting someone else to care for them. We now have a society that is turned upside down and inside out, handouts galore, paying people to do nothing, no goals, no achievements, no self respect, no work unless breeding is now classified as a job. Hence no doubt why they are spraying us with endocrine disruptors to PREVENT child bearing. Mankind has lost it's touch with Father, put HIM first he says, and all else with follow. Until mankind acknowledges that it needs HIM, well then it'll continue as is. HOW'S THAT WORKING FOR MANKIND THUS FAR? Have a great week. Take care of yourself.

Absolutely love Jonny loved this talented young man since he was a kid. He is so soulful. He touches my soul so deep 🕊 Thank you for sharing this beautiful video and God Bless 🙏🏽🖤🎸🖤
+Jerilyn Morris You are so correct. I've been a fan of Jonny since 1999 or 2000. Ever since Prince's death, I've spent hours watching videos of him... anything that I can find. I happen to find one where he's at a club playing and he calls Jonny Lang out to come join him on stage. It was explained that he'd heard that Jonny had been in or near the club. Now you know that when a legend like Prince calls someone out to join him on stage it's because he thinks they have talent. Jonny certainly has it...too bad he's a very underrated, and as you said, unappreciated artist.
"Breaking Me" has to probably be my most favorite of all his songs, although picking one is very hard to do.. I can feel every word he sings on this track.. Glad to know there are others out there that not only know of him, but understand how amazing he is.. I was ecstatic to hear he was coming to town here for the fair in July! Would sure love the chance to meet him ugh..;) Thanks for the comment

@@WheepingWillow2 couldnt have put it any better myself. Same story here - but age is just a number in your head - I will be 18 till I die 👍

Oh baby please take me back!
The struggles he has had in his life, it is great to see he is still living his dream. His style may have changed from the blues but he is still my favourite.
Lie to me was out when I was like 7 years old...I'm 34 now and he hasn't aged a bit...
Love this song ,, His concert is like no other he puts everything into it... a must see
That must be a 'once in a lifetime'- experience ❤
Jonny God gave you the gift I know your voice will be restored the time u ou spend waiting on the Lord to mend them will surely bring about a new song

It's always been a favorite of mine.

Lang just KILLS me!! AS GOOD AS IT GETS!
I'd like to see Jonny before I get to far over-the-hill!!! LOL....
+Jerry Sullivan I saw him when I was younger. it was the second best show I've ever seen. Johnny Lang is one of my favorites
LUCKY GUY!!! Lang is just amazing and still a youngster at that!! Still holding out for a live show......
+Jerry Sullivan - Sorry you haven't seen him yet! I've seen him 3 times, twice in Louisville, once in Dayton. He's changed a lot over the years. The beginning years were the best IMHO. Now it is a lot of touring with Buddy Guy or doing the Hendrix tour. Still great!
My fix is in at Jormas Fur Peace Ranch down in Meigs County..close to home and all good friends. maybe I'll see Lang someday.. :-)
Get better soon 🙌 was looking for a show 💕
I have been shot... every bone in my body broken... never cried.
His music makes me cry like a school-girl
His soul comes from his heart I dig his music
I love this man! He's simply beautiful in every way!
Love me some Jonny Lang
This tune brought me from a place I didn't want to be with the love of my life, to a place I am now, with my wife. I turned her on to JL over a decade ago, and she's been hooked ever since. Music with this much soul can be a very powerful thing. And a sincere dedication to the one you love can change things for the best.
Ty Mr. Lang. I owe u, more than u know...
I wish that it was possible for all of us that aren't with the ones that we love!
Love it
I love this artist! I love how he handles everything he sings!
I was very very moved ,when I first heard this song ,not just that, but live moved more each and every time I hear it
Discovered him many years ago and have turned many friends into fans.

Loved him since 1999..."Austin City Limits."
Thank you, VEVO! ❤🎸😍
TRUELY, one of the most amazing ARTISTS, I have ever seen! I am literally in AWE! Such a beautiful talent. Reaches right out and touches you. That's good music, not just for listening, giving you something you, can feel. Thank you, Johnny Lang!!!!
Amen, still holds true!
He's the whole deal... I not only love to hear him but I love to watch him play🖤 Beautiful soul
I still love this guy. SUCH an incredible talent. Man. Tears!
I saw Jonny open for Blues Traveler in Minneapolis in 1997 as my first rock concert. Jonny came out during the headliner and jammed out "Rock Me Baby." And no other concert since has lived up to that one.
I LOVE THIS GUY HE HAS A GREAT VOICE I LISTEN TO HIM ALL THE TIME , I LOVE HIS MUSIC
What a talent!
Absolutely love Jonny loved this talented young man since he was a kid. He is so soulful. He touches my soul so deep 🕊 Thank you for sharing this beautiful video and God Bless 🙏🏽🖤🎸🖤
I love that I don't have to wait for that first snare hit at 0:10... nice and early. Really scrapes against my soul every time.
It's breakin me... I so get this song! Touches my heart
Not a day goes by without Jonny Lang in my ears.
Can't wait to see him at the California Mid State Fair this summer! Huge, long time fan.. he's been given a God given talent that's so unappreciated
Where are you Jonny Lang and why arent you on the charts. You're awesome!
He's amazing and oozes talent. I love his sound from his voice to his guitar. Still one of the best concerts I've ever seen.
