Sir, welcome to the VW family, he nicely explained the power train and drivability without having much driving expericne in VW family car is absolutely correct. I have been a polo1.6L owner since 2011. ENJOY HAPPY & SAFE RIDE.
A Technical Correction: All Direct Injection Engines will result in carbon buildup in Intake manifold. It's not a clean combustion as some part of fuel will be cooked over the time period results in carbon buildup. Thats why in Higher Petrol Engines of Toyota uses both Port and Direct Injection. If planning to use for more than 10+years, change the oil 6months/5000KM and since its Turbo, follow the procedures during cold start and idle for 20-30 sec before turning off engine. The Oil change is the cheapest Insurance in the Long Run. Do it for Direct Injection+Turbo Charged Engines within 6months or 5000KM whichever is earlier..
I would like to inquire about the appropriate cold start procedure to ensure the longevity of my vehicle. I own a 9-year-old Vitara Brezza Diesel with 80,000 kilometers on the odometer. I am contemplating whether to sell it or continue using it. Kindly provide your expert advice on this matter.
@movementbuilders8828 It's a good diesel vehicle.. just while cold start, sit inside and start the engine and do other works like, rolling down windows, loading up your Playlist apps or put charge for your phone, turn on AC, roll up windows and switch AC to recirculation off to on. This will take 30 seconds to 1 min...Engine would have warmed up...for first 2kms don't rev up the engine...shift gears within 1000rpm...as diesel has torque it will enough to manuvaure. Similarly, before reaching a known destination, be gentle with throttle, don't exceed 1000rpm, and after stopping mandatory idle for 30 seconds for turbo to cool and oil not to be cooked on extreme hear in turbo. Mandatory oil change for 5k km or 6months whichever earlier...change air filter, ac filter in each service.. change Fuel filter once in every year mandateroly. Engine will run for next 5 yrs. Coolent and brake oil every 3yrs or 30k. Diesel engines will last longer if taken care...check for clutch and suspension..if it's replaced you almost have a new car. Happy riding.
Excellent review sir....the owner is very knowledgeable, if you want driving dynamics definitely Skoda is the best.....you can feel it, only after driving it....proud owner of Kushi....i liked him for his concern regarding environment....
I got 25 kmpl, it depends upon driving skill only, but there is a lag in hill drive ,due to 3 cylinder engine, but in highways , it is so good to drive with stability
19:07 I felt same lag in Skoda Rapid and with the Kushaq as well, after you turn the steering there was a second delay, where I'm not feeling the same thing in my Mahindra Marazzo.

a 1.5 is always a 1.5, and as this person says , there is almost no mileage difference between the kushaq and a elevate. the thing that will bother you between a 1.0 to a 1.5 its the hard clutch and the turbo lag in a 1.0, plus since the tsi is a turbo it will give you a good torque push than the ivtec the ivtec is a allrounder between the city and the highway, but the tsi is purely a highway car unless you gonna drive a auto in the city

Skoda launching a Sub-4m crossover this week, so they need to clear out the existing vehicles in the yard. I can't help but think this would make a great paid video, especially with the low-powered engine and AT priced at 19 lakhs. If the engine and transmission are a good combo, I suggest waiting for the new Kylaq, which would be better suited for power and transmission. I hope Birla, as an expert, will agree with me on this.

That is why 1.5 gives more mileage compared to 1.0 TSI under certain conditions.. ( may be in city driving or low highways speeds)..
You missed the major con, engine seizes in 3 cyl due to oil starvation and the unbalanced firing. AC is a complete let down in VW & Skoda. They can't even address the issue & it's well below par
@ There is no connection between no of cylinders and oil starvation. If that is true millions of Maruti800 and Altos won't be still running with Lakhs of kms.
