      Trisha Paytas you should use at least twice that, as far as dermatologists n shit are concerned. I THInk, and don’t quote me on this, I think there’s like a specific way to tell the amount you should be using, but it’s like, a lot

    • @trishapaytas3009
      @trishapaytas3009 5 лет назад +3

      Elon Musk ok but did u read his comment. He said for him not anyone else. The amount of sunscreen she used was enough for 2 hours. You should always re-apply every 2 hours during the day. And some sunscreens don’t have a lot of zinc oxide which makes the application appear gray and ghostly.

    • @elonmusk921
      @elonmusk921 5 лет назад +12

      Trisha Paytas o...k? I’m saying that that blueberry sized bit of sunscreen was not adequate. I’ve heard from dermatologists that the actual amount of product you’re using matters, and, based on what I’ve read/heard, she didn’t use enough

    • @daniellecolucci3470
      @daniellecolucci3470 5 лет назад +9

      @@trishapaytas3009 U need FULL opacity when it comes to sunscreen, most people do not use nearly the right amount. To put it in perspective, a BB cream or foundation with an SPF is never good enough because you would need 7 times the amount of makeup you would typically put on in order to get the correct SPF factor labeled on the bottle.

    • @biddyreid1567
      @biddyreid1567 5 лет назад +24

      Theres a big difference in my opinion when using quality products and techniques, and the glow lasts for longer than it would after simply putting moisturiser on, once the skin has absorbed it the glow is basically gone. These products used in the facial are not sitting on the skins surface but genuinely being soaked into the skin and helping improve the skins quality and appearance even after the first use more than just a moisturiser. Ive been studying beauty therapy and its only my first year but my view and knowledge on skin care has changed drastically and my own skin has improved so much!

      jenny hardie in the words of dr dray show me some data!

    • @LD-tn6ff
      @LD-tn6ff 5 лет назад +21

      jenny hardie literally the first step she used after the mask was an oil, which is an occlusive and sits on top of the skin. These types of products literally only make the surface layer look pretty, while the deeper layers of skin remain dry. the rest of the products were then layered on top of that. I can assure you, these products did not soak that deep into the skin. Her glow is definitely temporary from the use of oils, and will most likely disappear as the products get taken off

    • @dacookoosnest
      @dacookoosnest 5 лет назад +8

      Leigh D thank you very much! By no means am I trying to belittle beauty therapists or estheticians but all these products that they use do not make a positive difference to your face. I mean she’s rubbing what looks like a GOLD PESTLE on her face, how is this good for your skin?! There’s a reason why dermatologist tell you to avoid all this shit.. and that’s because it’s absolutely crap for your skin

    • @biddyreid1567
      @biddyreid1567 5 лет назад +4

      Rachael Ferguson it’s definitely not crap for your skin, and we clearly have different experiences with skin care, I’m not saying you must use these products but skin care is really important to some people and does make a huge difference longer than when you first apply it.

    The silk cream has silk in it because the silk molecule is larger than our skin, so it creates a silk layer to make the skin soft and smooth as well as protecting it from the environment.

    • @amberraye9018
      @amberraye9018 5 лет назад +10

      Daddy Braska steam doesn’t open pores, it’s a myth and they are drying, yo won’t find them in many high end spas anymore. I do agree it’s not even professional spa products the reason this won’t produce as drastic results as at a spa is that the actives in the product won’t be as high as in spa grade exfoliant and peels, serums masks etc, though they are great products. I am a licensed Rn and medical aesthetician and if you want to spend that kinda cash go to a spa or a medical spa or plastic surgeon for the good good and treat your skin well at home use sunscreen and have facials during seasonal change to switch up home care and you will have the best results❤️😘

    The price for the products:
    Pure One Step Camellia Cleansing Oil: $48
    The Rice Polish: Gentle: $65
    The Kissu Lip Mask: $28
    Violet C Radiance Mask: $68
    Gold Camellia Beauty Oil: $95
    The Essence: $95
    Luminous Deep Hydration Firming Eye Serum: $85
    The Silk Cream: $120
    Silken Pore Perfecting Sunscreen: $68
    Luminous Dewy Skin Mist: $48
    $717 in total. This facial STARTS at $500 and that’s not counting tax or tip. Plus, in other videos she uses either The Dewy Skin Cream or The Water Cream, so knock the price down by $52 ($68 vs $120) to $665 to buy all of the products yourself and use dozens of times, not pay $500+ for a one time use.
    I’m not counting the bowl and brush ($124) or the gold massagers ($195 each), but still. In short, a rip off.

    We are so easy to impress! Of course, you will glow with massages and oily products. The order in which she applied the products was wrong. I do have a lot of Tatcha products and I have to say that they do work. I started using Tatcha 8 years ago. My favorite products are the Cleansing Oil and the Rice Enzyme Powder.

    You can get the glow by applying facial oil too. The dry oils such as camellia oil especially soak in and do not leave a greasy feel. I feel that Tatcha products are just way too expensive. You can get cheaper alternatives to them in Japan and Korea.....

  • @src3360

    I, at one point, loved loved loved tacha products.
    Once I started looking at ingredients, researching them. Learning labeling laws in regards to high and low amounts. I found that tatcha wasn’t what I was looking for.
    Again, just my personal opinion.
    However....
    the products are amazing, definitely try them! They are a little pricey but worth it.
    My favorites were the polish, essence, sunblock. Those products amazed me the most.
    I feel like that (3 products) could be an easy skin care routine by itself for someone with oily skin. You cleanse/exfoliate daily with the polish, the essence gives deep hydration and the sunblock was moisturizing enough for my oily skin. Throw in an eye cream and a targeted treatment serum and you are set!!!
    ♥️🌈💎🧬💕🕯
