I tried to build one myself in Stoneblock 3 using rf builders, but I've run into a massive problem. It literally wont craft the damn compact machine and will only work if I manually build the recipe in the fields.
edit: I figured out I just needed a block update so now it works.

For future reference to other people. If you have a glowstone sapling, you can make endstone and deconstruct 8 of them for 1 ender pearl per. It isn’t automated like enderpearl seeds, but it is by far the fastest method to getting your first enderpearls.
