Hi. May I know if the chart can be referred regardless type of polymer (i.e anionic, cationic etc)? Also, could you please explain the formula 4/250? 250 is the sludge sample volume (250ml)? 4 comes from? Thanks in advance!
@@ggdelgado Hello Mr Can you help me concerning: the dimensions of the cylinder (height and inside diameter), diameter of the openings in the two discs and their thicknesses, the material of the cylinder and the discs, and finally the weight applied at the end of the video. Good luck .
@@rihabbelguembour8319 Good day, The diameter of the cylinder was based on the diameter of the belt samples we got from the manufacturer. Manufacturers provided samples of 9.0 cm and it was the same material they use to make the belts for belt presses. So we sized the cylinder to be 9.0 cm. They weight applied was three plates of 30 lbs each, total of 90 lbs to simulate the pressure inside the rollers of a belt press. I hope this helps and if you have any more questions let me know. Thank you for watching.
Here's is the video how to prepare the polymer solution: ruclips.net/video/MKF5WCaBCQs/видео.html. The polymer solution concentration is 2,000 mg/L. On minute 1:47, you can use the chart to estimate the concentration of polymer in pounds per dry ton of solids.
Thanks for the video! It was very helpful
Nice technology. Could you please tell us where to find the belt press sample, or the manufacturer. Thank you

Hey. Nice video :). Is it possible to find somewhere online the conversion figure and conversion table for polymer dosage? Thank you in advance.
sure, send me an email to ggdelgado83 at g mail dot com. I'll send you a copy.
@@ggdelgado I have sent you an email. Thank you very much. :)

Pls mentioned polymer dosage how much ppm are used for 250 ml sludge dewatering and what was the polymer concentration
