the second movie is actually going to focus on the underwater world if im not mistaken and yeah they're planning to make 5 movies, with the projected date of release for the sequel being 2020 but nothing has been confirmed or solidified. Keep in mind the first movie took 4 years to make, and now they're working 4 of them :)

I also love the Avatar movie and I'm curious how they'll make sequel films when everything was pretty much wrapped up in the first one, and it's also been so long since it originated.
Carrie Wright im very curious too! I honestly hope itll go over Jakes new leadership and maybe give us more info on the other tribes of pandora. Id love to see more wildlife and culture as well that was my favorite part of the movie.
The film is projected to hit theaters in 2020 if im correct. They're working on the 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th at the same time in hopes to be able to roll them out back to back. Plus you have to keep in mind they're building the world, plot, everything from basically scratch. There aren't movies to guide the production company along. It took 4 years just for the first movie to be made, let alone making 4 of them now. lso keep in mind, Avatar is also the highest grossing film of all time so they are for sure going to continue through with the rest of the movies. - en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_highest-grossing_films
The new movies are also focusing on the entire world of pandora, in the movie the planet was MASSIVE compared to earth so there are really no bounds on what the new movies could showcase. If you guys recall we never really got to see the aquatic life in the first movie, aside from the bio-luminescent stream when Jake first meets Neytiri but aside from that we never saw anything and I'm almost 90% positive James Cameron said that the second movie will be focusing on exploring that part of pandora and taking a deeper look into jake and Neytiri's relationship and their children.
I love that u guys have so much to say on the movie i love avatar but now i think i should dig a little deeper than just watching the movie and saying that I like it.😊😊😊
@Taylor Rhoden what? They didnt wrap the first one up at all. They literally left it open ended by Jake becoming one of the navi and swapping his consciousness into his avatar body. It was answered that Jake and ney mated, she literally said "it is done we are mated for life", there was a whole fight about it between he, tsu'tey, and neytiri???
@Taylor Rhoden 🤦🏻♀️ it doesnt have an anterior meaning other than the fact they are bonded for life. Him transferring into the body of his avatar and them leaving it off with it being successful (remember it's never been done before and Grave was unable to survive the transfer due to her injuries) was a HUGE cliffhanger and very exciting. In the first movie we saw probably not even 10% of Pandora. It's already been confirmed that the next movies will be focusing on the planet that is pandora, other tribes, and the lives of Jake, Neytiri, and their children.
The second movie will be exploring the oceans of pandora, that much has already been confirmed.
I like to see you work, but the font of the subtitles is really hard to read

It is completely stunning in every way! So lifelike and filled with details. Perfection!❤
I absolutely *love* your art, your techniques and your eye for details. You're the reason why I was inspired to start working on my own little craft project. However, the tail could have been sculpted more closely to the actual one in my opinion. It's a full tuft of blue hair at the end of the tail, not a fin off of each of the sides. The tail tuft matches her dark blue hair. As a collector, it's these "true to representation" details I look for when purchasing.
I was in awe the whole time I watched this! It is breathtaking to look at especially with the glow!

This looks like it was the perfect doll for this custom. The eye shape was already very round and deep set and the face was already some what flatter.
Super cool! I tried making her a while ago also, and while they do share SOME similarities, it's nothing compared to this beauty.
