DAMNNNNN....!!!! THAT'S SOOOOO COOL....!!!! fr man, i see this vid and training to draw like that for a week and now i can draw the fire really cool..... I thank you so much man... That very helpful...
This was exactly what I was looking for! So easy to follow along and I really understood how to make fire look like, well, fire but to keep that anime/video games look that I wanted! I reaaaally hope you're gonna do more of these! I really wanted to draw splashing water and like water powers and I couldn't find anything good enough to help so it would be awesome to see if you feel like making more of these tutorials!
Came looking for some hints on drawing fire for a little project of mine, found a Big hidden gem with a lot more to learn, of couse i subscribed. Amazing how you explain it, you make it quite simple and pratical. Loved it
In 34 years I never been able to make an interesting flame. You teach me in a few minutes, and I did it! Thank you so much! You are really really good, never forget that!
I like those rules, "shapes inside shapes" and "don't be boring", so I was thinking, what if I want to draw this flames in a different color? like blue or green or even purple... what color should I use inside? maybe for the blue flame a cyan is good, but for the other colors... Is there a rule or something like that to help me draw flames of any color and not look weird?
For stylized flame its best to make the inner color just be a more vibrant and lighter version of the outer color. You can totally experiment and play around with it of course, but that should start you off :)
i would love to see like strings of flames going into a specific direction. I have a bit of a problem with that and definitely interested if you're willing to do that kind of tutorial in the future!
this was actually really helpful and way easier than it looks. i thought it was going to be so advanced that i couldn't keep up but that wasn't the case
I try to explain everything in a way a "non artist" would understand. Because we don't all speak the same version of "art" but we all can understand "non art" talk :)
Me attempting these with a pencil has been interesting. Had to make adjustments for not having a brush tool editor. Doing shapes within shapes was really hard without a fill tool or large brush stroke, so I just traced the outlines by eye.
I'm doning these back to back atm and I so love them. But it's so weird, the realistic ones are so much easier for me than the stylized and I rly don't know why. 😂
Awesome work! One question: I’m trying to do some background wall for some props, but I can’t render it properly with the correct shading. You have some tips?
Could you maybe find someway to let us use the background in the video? If not it’s totally ok, I just don’t have the best thing to practice drawing fire, specifically with how it makes other things glow
Nice, I was searching for a traditional one and not digital but I think the tips/notes you mentioned might help me draw it traditionally. thx! Edit: I'm gonna be using for a manga I'll be creating by next year or so, the name of the manga is 金で心 or Golden Hearts
I hope you still reply to comments... What brushes so you use on this? I currently use Clio studio paint and i would like the specifications/ brushes do you use!
Every program has some variation of the "Hard Round" and "soft round" brush. They're named differently, but if you Google your program's version of those you'll be able to find them. I make sure to only use default brushes so everyone can practice along
Found a hidden gem, RUclips Recommend being useful for once

When i tried using blending mode colour dodge everything disappeared
Holy shit why don't you have anymore viewers!?
That's a lovely question and if I had to guess it's probably just bad thumbnails and titles
What brush do you use here?
Hard round brush
Which app did you use?
Photoshop
do you need a pen draw this because i am struggling to do it with the mouse
It is definitely suggested to use a drawing tablet. Xp pen and huion have some very affordable ones for around $40 usd
@@Gammatrap Guess I'll stick to pen and paper
brush pack pls
Default hard round, default soft round
wuv u :D
My first try looks like wtf😂😂
Man you talk too much. Thanks for the video but pls next we wanna see pratical not talking all day
Shut your mouth boi
it's better than saying 3 words and then proceeding to do a time lapse of the entire drawing
