Hi, I live in Flint Mi and I'm a shore fisherman. I still don't own a boat or kayak, but in the nearby lakes Mott and Holloway have lost the largemouth and smallmouth, I guess they already went to the depths of the water... question: is it necessary a leader in the baicast braided line? (I use 10, 12 and 14lbs flurocarbon) in my spiner I use 35lbs braid with 14lbs fluro leader, I want to use braid in my baicast for my jigs, but I hate using a leader in baicast system... what do you think? Is it more effective to fish with a leader or would you dare to do a challenge with both systems perhaps, that would be interesting, as well as the use of a quick link (does the fish see it?) Interesting questions... I already subscribed to support you, regards
Hey what’s up! You’re not far from me man. I’m around grand blanc area, but yeah I would definitely be using a leader line when fishing for largemouth or smallmouth. Those lakes are pretty clear I think, so I would 100% use a leader! Probably a 10-15ft leader of 15-20lb fluorocarbon.

@@ExtremeOutdoorsmen wire tied skirts are one of the few things I look for on skirted baits. I find they last 10x longer
