- This Vincent Price biography was aired on 26 October 1993 by A&E in the US, the day after the legendary actor died. It was never aired again in its original form due to licensing issues but ended up on VHS (which we present here).
An updated version titled, Vincent Price: The Versatile Villain, was produced and aired in the US on 12 October 1997.
In my opinion it seems the success for actors back then was longevity in the industry, constantly working, being relevant across generations. Even playing roles you wouldn't think they'd play. Vincent had the speaking role in MJ Thriller...who would've thought his voice would be in a pop song!
I could listen to his voice all day.
"Vincent Price is Timeless!" I agree
There will never be another like him, ever.
Has it really been thirty years? My words. I remember recording this and wondering why it never came back on until I found out about the the licensing problems. One of the best looks at the person behind the roles they played. Utterly wonderful.
A very classy actor a gentleman the voice oh the voice . We all recognise voices . He did a wonderful film at 80 with Bette Davis called The Whales of August watch it , it's a gem folks .❤
This was a pleasant watch, thank you!
Loved him ever since Song of Bernadette 💖
Love this bio! Nobody like "Uncle Vincent"! 😃💝
Great to see, thank you!
Loved you as a child still love you in my 70s ❤
Thank you
This video was deleted from the RUclips app once before, because of copyright infringement issues with A&E Network. I hope RUclips doesn't delete it from the Vincent Price Legacy channel for the same reason, or perhaps it was "Vincent Price, the Versatile Villain ", which was deleted once because of the copyright issues with A&E that I was thinking about.
Great to celebrate the greats.
Grandissimo Vincent Price
❤
It's a shame they didn't mention his collaboration with Michael Jackson on "Thriller".
Shame most people don't know about his cameo on Alice Cooper's "Devil's Food" on the "Welcome to My Nightmare" album. I saw the episode of "Dinah!" where Alice gave Vincent a Gold Album for it.
Glad Mr. Price wasn't mentioned with a pedophiler.
Never mentions his collaboration with Michael Jackson.
He looks like a great Evangelist who recently passed away.
