This track is available on the compilation album Brothers On The Slide: The Story Of UK Funk. It's on Amazon.co.uk. It's got lots of other great stuff too, but this track by Carol Grimes may be the outstanding forgotten track. Wonderful.
Got this album somewhere but I remember seeing her perform this live on many occasions at Camden Lock. Name of the club escapes me now after all these years. Think it’s Mel Collins on sax and he is still performing with Kokomo
Pretty funky and groovy!
I love it. Memories of the Seventies. Memories of Trenkler´s radio show. Fantastic singer, great tune. One of my darlings, forever.
An absolute pleasure to listen to . Kills track and raw drums. SO,SO FUNKYY

my singing teacher!!!
Saw her regularly at the Torrington in Finchley on a Sunday. Now a Starbucks, I believe!

What a great track! I got to know Carol from her jazz singing class at City Lit, so it's a pleasant surprise to find this song.
