there needs to be a button that sets your unit to fire at its lowest range of fire or choose weapon in the unit with a button like the disable one. Your rifles shouldn't have to be turned off to get that effect. Any real squad can figure that out themselves doesn't need that much micro
2 man flamer squads suck. the 5-6 man ones are deadly once they get into range but are very to get them into a good attacking postion without being pinned. If you want to be safe (and are playing germany) you could get pioneers as they do have 100m throw-able nukes.
A bit late to comment but spam. you can get 4 bren groups vs 1 pzgren (only 5 point difference). And 8 brens will dish out more damage than 2 mg42's. Also you have 20hp vs just 10.

I 100% agree. With glider rifles I find that its best just to turn off the BAR as it hardly does any damage.
maybe an ambush mode where they'll only fire when all weapons in the squad are in range?

So can you recommend support flamers? Seeing the Ranger Assaults Squads cook everything makes me wish those little two mans teams were more viable.
