Jeff Steele and I are friends from way back when. Before he went to Nashville he lived here in Southern California. We hired him a few times to play at our Bowling Banquets. I'm hoping he remembers us, (Richard (Dick) Pfaff and Colleen (CJ) Moore). the bowling league was P.O. & Customers League and P.O. & Friends League. We lost touch awhile back but I need help locating him again. My best friend, Susie (of 50+ yrs) Brother passed away 5 years now. He worked for DWP but also formed a country band, Which he has formed or been in a band since he was sixteen. Jeff reminds me of Steve in a lot of ways. When Steve passed. Susie stayed with us for 4 months while we helped her take care of his properties and bank accounts. In his property he had a complete sound and recording studio in his house along with 23 electric guitars, 6 acoustical guitars, 4 banjo's, 2 keyboards, 3 complete drum sets. Susie gave me one of the acoustical guitars w/case. To this day I do not know how to play it. However, after going through the case I found a half written country song. It is awesome and I am not a song writer and neither is Susie. I called and told her what I found and asked her permission to find a way to get the song to a country singer songwriter that could finish and record it to their own label. However, the only thing we both ask is Susie doesn't want any type of royalties of any kind. All either of us only request that Steve's name is put on as co-writer, Posthumously if necessary, just co-writer is fine and a copy of the album / CD be send to Susie so she can frame it. I also asked Susie if she would allow me to donate the Guitar to a country signer to be given away at the Country singers discretion. Susie said yes. So I'm desperately try to reach Jeff to see if he would honor our request. To know for sure Jeff Steele is the real one getting a hold of me. He will tell me something that only Richard, myself and Jeff would know. So please if you know how to reach him contact me at qypsykit@hotmail.com, ( that's a q not a g ), Thank you and God Bless.
Jeffrey wrote this beautiful song for his son Alex who was killed in an accident and he has a tattoo on his arm of Alex that they show at the end of this heart felt video, Jeffrey is pouring out his heart and soul in this song at CMA fest 2007. He has written more number one song's in Nashville than anyone else and he is in my Top

Why have I never heard of JS? I didn't know he was the song writer of this song! I've loved and listened to it for many years.
JS is excellent! I have Mark Wills' CD that he sings this song on. Mark Wills also kills it! They both sing Jeffrey's song with so much emotion.

His voice only gets better with age
Absolutely. I bet he could sing the shit out of some R&B/Soul classics. He's certainly got the pipes for it. I'd buy that album!
