Launch an enemy TWICE with the Nemesis Whip (preferably with bow cancels) and watch the magic happen. -Running towards boundaries (while a certain distance away from enemies) provokes taunts. Heavily exploitable. Satyr taunts can also be provoked by gliding with DA WINGS. -As demonstrated by Findle, Olympus Archer soul can get stuck on levers. This causes certain things to just not load at all. A marvelous way of putting it to work is in the Chamber of Poseidon. Link in the replies. -Blades of Exile gain 50% MOAR DMG per upgrade, making lvl5 multiplier 3.0. Toothpicks of Athena are 1.0. -Nemesis Whip/Nemean Cestus have a DISAPPOINTING multiplier. lvl5 multiplier is 1.4 (40% higher than lvl1). CoH is slightly better, but still really bad. -Arrows will bait the Wraiths into 'burrow'. I've been playing gow since childhood when gow2 was just released and I've been almost the biggest fan of this series but at that time I didn't see much people talk about the game...Now that such a big community have been developed I'm genuinely happy...Keep creating these awesome videos bro
Zesty, Ragnarök is confirmed to have 20 hours long story, 16 hours of which is gameplay. I am genuinely concerned how they will handle this many characters and events in such a "short" amount of time, but I suppose they will do it GoW 2 way. Speaking of GoW 3, your complaint was that there is too little gameplay compared to unskippable cutscenes (IIRC). Well, here they fixed that! So I suppose you may start celebrating 🤔🍾🥂
GOW 2018 was 20 hours long, GOW Ragnarok was confirmed to be double in size compared to GOW 2018. Now double in Size is it the space or the game that is unclear. But even if taking the improved graphics increased size we can still expect it being easily 30-40 hours long.

The difference is, we will go forward, to different realms all the time (not come back to Týr's temple or the Mountain like we did several times), more things will happen each hour (reminiscent of GoW 2) and in the end it still could turn out okay.

Not completely from dmc5 tho. Dmc5 shaped the game differently for me which was playing with mad crazy cancels and shit This is somewhat changing for me now, mixing it with some strategy and in game mechanics But i still try to play stylishly as well
The pandora's temple completely blew my mind to think they had mapped out the entire Mountain for those locations and it not just being some random location which they could have done since you would never know. Yet still they went through the pain of the GOW1 locations being mapped out properly on the mountain. And they used that exact Mountain model for Chronos in GOW3 too, you have to give them credit for the details. 1:18 Fiend interacting with Cyclops blew my mind cause you never fight them together. But I think they had a plan of using such combination of enemy in the earlier or beta version of the game, but they decide to scrap it. However the coding logic for the interracting between these two enemy type still remained which is so cool in my opinion. It makes more sense if you remember the GOW3 trailer "I fear nothing" one, there are some enemies riding the Cyclops and controlling them with swords.
Looks promising, but they don't work too well when put into practice. Arena testing showed that the mounted projectile is non-damaging, and that the Cyclops rarely ever moves. They probably ran into AI issues, so they decided to hide their errors in not having the 2 enemies around in the same encounter.

There is another thing that i guess nobody noticed. you see in the cronos boss fight we came out ripping his stomach apart after he eats us but,when he dies the cutscene shows up and shows cronos dying so when the camera goes infront of cronos we can see that his stomach his healed like nothing happened

I think this is why they gave us relatively less moves and a more visible moves menu in GOW 2018. There where literally a TON of shit you could do with you weapons and specific enemies but people just mashed square and triangle and I mean, fair, it is a hack and slash but bruh, if a game gives you a full arsenal and you just mash square that's kinda your fault
Zesty is the best gow youtuber imo, and the only youtuber I make comments for, I watched the how god of war 3 saved my life video, I have a very similar story with god of war 1 and 2 weirdly enough. I had played god of war 2 and never 1, then played 3 and being a kid I never noticed ascension when it came out until I got my hands on gow 1 and 2 remastered for ps3, and being young at the time I didn’t know how much harder gow 1 was gonna be over 2. I couldn’t beat it, I played for hours; days with multiple hours and I could barely beat the minator qte. It was to the point I was crying because I had to give up on the game before my favorite game of all time.(at the time) I really gave up on it too after a while, it really broke me as a kid but I could play and beat gow 2 and 3 so I was fine. Gow 4 ended up coming out, got it on release ended up loving it as much as 2. At this point I was 17 or 18 depending on what part of the year it came out so I was an adult-ish and was better and still growing at games. Just last month I played through and beat god of war 1 and I’m currently playing ascension for the first time, the first god of war will always have a level of mysticalness to me because of this, and I feel neutral to the trap plank walking sections (Normal plank walking sucks) It’s because when you’re in the hades challenge room it really feels like a challenge that a mortal isn’t supposed to survive; Kratos’ death/hades section of the game really feels like Kratos is defying death and is not supposed to survive. In terms of environment and purpose and setting these areas are amazing and beautiful, with that said they’re annoying. To sum it all up, thank you for being a RUclipsr Zesty. You resparked my love for god of war enough for me to beat the one game I have always wanted to, and on the hardest difficulty because playing games with style is the only way.

Hey is the different animation for Pandora’s box in the pause menu (the menu to upgrade weapons and look at stats, etc.) an intentional thing? The animation is usually just sliding or simple zoom whenever you press L1 or R1 but one time i had a different animation where whenever I press either buttons the camera would zoom out instead of sliding and it has a weird pitch sound. I’m just wondering if it’s an intentional thing or maybe a bug I found?
You cant parry cyclopse guy it s just impossible. I tried so many times. I parried that aerial hook of satyres a couple times but it s also very very hard to do especially when you cant see them because of camera
Brooo ! I literally just beat the fu¢ing CHIMERA CHALLENGE! So the trick is: right after you kill the first one ,and 2 spawn you gotta put one chimera to phase 3 and leave him. And right after it says "4 out of 5" on the counter you go FU€K the phase 3 chimera you kept in the beginning. I hope I helped you defeat the challenge.
I know you can get zeus in a close to infinite stun lock in his first phase with the grab there's a tutorial on youtube by some guy named thunderpike1111

Assuming you have the usual 'build' for this fight (lvl3+ Blades and MAX Cronos' Rage), you can cast CR a couple times at the first phase and keep parrying the bolts (while gliding over the dash followup that's guaranteed after parrying the FIRST bolt **parrying the second won't have Zeus dash at you**). The only worthwhile attack from the Blade of Olympus is R1+t. Use it after parrying his 3-hit combo that ends in an unblockable overhead 2-handed slam. Second phase boils down to spamming t3. Don't use any magic. Just play the zoning game. His attacks are Very easy to punish (can literally circle him and avoid them this way). Third phase is a repeat of the first. Last phase requires Rage usage. Hit him as he recovers from an attack animation. I find his leap to be the easiest to punish. Other moves are still alright. I suggest you visit my GoWII playlists to see how I handle him under different conditions.

Hey is the different animation for Pandora’s box in the pause menu (the menu to upgrade weapons and look at stats, etc.) an intentional thing? The animation is usually just sliding or simple zoom whenever you press L1 or R1 but one time i had a different animation where whenever I press either buttons the camera would zoom out instead of sliding and it has a weird pitch sound. I’m just wondering if it’s an intentional thing or maybe a bug I found?

You cant parry cyclopse guy it s just impossible. I tried so many times. I parried that aerial hook of satyres a couple times but it s also very very hard to do especially when you cant see them because of camera

Brooo ! I literally just beat the fu¢ing CHIMERA CHALLENGE!
So the trick is: right after you kill the first one ,and 2 spawn you gotta put one chimera to phase 3 and leave him. And right after it says "4 out of 5" on the counter you go FU€K the phase 3 chimera you kept in the beginning. I hope I helped you defeat the challenge.

I'll be focusing on the 1v1 phases (as I doubt Sirens are the issue). Assuming you have the usual 'build' for this fight (lvl3+ Blades and MAX Cronos' Rage), you can cast CR a couple times at the first phase and keep parrying the bolts (while gliding over the dash followup that's guaranteed after parrying the FIRST bolt **parrying the second won't have Zeus dash at you**). The only worthwhile attack from the Blade of Olympus is R1+t. Use it after parrying his 3-hit combo that ends in an unblockable overhead 2-handed slam.
Second phase boils down to spamming t3. Don't use any magic. Just play the zoning game. His attacks are Very easy to punish (can literally circle him and avoid them this way).
Third phase is a repeat of the first.
Last phase requires Rage usage. Hit him as he recovers from an attack animation. I find his leap to be the easiest to punish. Other moves are still alright.
I suggest you visit my GoWII playlists to see how I handle him under different conditions.
