There's something not correct here...... they have mentioned twice about "empty boxes" did you complained about empty boxes or not liking the product. if it was not at all related to empty boxes, you should have straight away shut them in their first message itself when they mentioned empty box. rather you accepted that you received empty boxes, for which they were asking unboxing video, which seems fair. their terms and conditions are definitely red flag, that i would agree. Also the customer support seems untrained.
They mentioned about empty boxes twice because they were trying to play emotional game of "them addressing the issue of missing products and sending new ones right away" so that they don't have to issue refund under not liking the product policy.

@@crazyideas2911 Ok I totally get where you're going with this and seems unethical to you. So let me break it down for you on this issue. 1) The entire Terms and conditions in itself are a big flag. In this, they didn't even mention you have to make a literal Unboxing Video for the refund until you message them personally. 2) They haven't even made sure whether we have to pay the cancellation fee or not. On top of that, I'm still confused whether you have to pay for the shipping charges or not. 3) The message prompt that says you get a full privilege for a week to try out the 100ml perfume and apply for return/replace the perfume with no questions asked makes it redundant and irrelevant compared to their made-up rules. And let me tell you something, people don't read the terms and conditions before buying a perfume. 4) The point where you're trying to make is that he should have applied for the refund for the two empty boxes in the first place rather than replacement, I think he wouldn't have got the refund as again this organization seems to be confused between return and refund which is laughable in itself and also requires again the Unboxing video. And by any slim chance, they do initiate refund from their side, Ashish would only receive for the one unit which in the end he's still getting scammed. 5) At the end about why he applied for a replacement is because he wanted to make a complete review of this Indian house(non sponsored) and I don't blame him. All in all, this Indian perfume is UNETHICAL and I don't want such houses to exist, it ruins the overall name of the Indian perfume houses by making it less trustworthy and said to provide a cheaper quality.
