I'm not great at ID'ing birds when at my local park; the turkey vultures, storks, pelicans, and various ducks are all present. My bird detector picked up Varied Thrush and Greater White-fronted Goose for the first time. I need to figure out how to chart seasonal appearance by different birds.

@@caphector Varied Thrush songs are one of my absolute favorite sounds!!! Have you looked into eBird? It is great for tracking sightings of birds.
I didn’t saw any migrating bird in AZ. I just encountered some sparrows

@@ABirdingNaturalist it was a couple black throated sparrows. It was my first time seen that species.
