Nice lessons. You deserve more subscribers. More strumming videos please. I like that you are not tapping your foot. I don't know if it just me. I don't find it cool when I see someone playing a guitar while tapping their foot.😀
I like this comment. But to be honest, I have heard guitarists go as far as saying that foot-tapping is essential. Rythm is a weak point in my playing, so I am going to try to learn how to tap a foot. I should probably add a metronome to that process. I'll add 5min. of foot-tapping+metronome and 10min. of foot-tap+metronome+strum patterns to my schedule.
Hey David! Looks like the P is a mistake. Somehow those got labled as being played with your strumming hand thumb. That's what it would mean for something with fingerpicking. The parentheses mean that your hand is going to move down on that beat but not to hit the strings since that note is tied. However, if you don't move your hand down, you'll mess up the next strum.

Hey Brad, do you have some examples of easy-to-learn songs that use compound strum patterns, perhaps a couple from your list of 11?
