WOW, it made quick work of the hayfield. The farmer loves his AGCO tractors.
It is a solid AGCO farm.
Thank you for the Massey Ferguson video. My great grandfather had two 35 Fergusons. Brings back such good memories. Love your videos and love Massey Ferguson
I have fe35 4cyl. It's the best tractor i can have, because it,s so small and quite reliable, sometimes reliable......
a tour of that farm would have been cool
You will see more of it in future BTP videos featuring some of the Fendt tractors you see parked in the yard.
When I was a kid even a young dumb teen, I loved watching tractors and combines work in the fields. Watching your videos takes me back and I appreciate you for that. Your videos are some of the best but if you add drone footage they would be the best.
Thank you for watching. I am the same way since I could walk I liked watching farm machines. You will see drone cottage in some up coming videos. Stay tuned.
Massey sure isn't like it used to be when I was working on them. Different animal today. Good looking tractor! The mower sounds like a beast!!
Which Massey tractors did you work on?
You must be referring to those little, squat grey tractors. They could hardly pull a two bottom plow. I used to pick blackberries on summer vacation and I can still see that little Ferguson tractor hauling the cases of picked berries.
@@bigtractorpower anything from To20 to 3650s to 4900 including some industrial. I was a combine technician for the most part though.
BTP has gone international! Trés bien, monsieur.
ROCK!! 3:29
Thank you. It was a fun trip to feature a new area and different machines.
Thanks for showing some MF’s , I was raised on a 150 and a 255. Those were some good hard working tractors!
Excellent video B.T.P..
You haven't done too many videos about Massey Furguson lately, but this one was really makes up for it.Very impressive to say the least.
I am always looking for Massey. This was the first 8700 series I have had a chance to film. The 8737 is impressive.
@@bigtractorpowerIts a beefy machine without a doubt.
Nice video love seeing those masseys our whole farm is mostly masseys
I was excited to film an 8700. I have filmed a few 8660s but never an 8700 until now. The 8737 is a cool machine.
Cool combination. Toplink on the front could be a lìttle bit shorter. Thanks for the video grtz from the netherlands
It is a nice set up. Thank you for watching.
Nice Video. Welcome north of the border!I live one hour west of Montreal
I was wondering if BTP did any other videos here in Quebec
Brilliant video guys , I used to drive MF 35 in my young days ,great tractors then and still are today
Very cool. The 35 was a popular tractor. What type of jobs did you do with it?
I used MF on the silage pit with a small buck rack pushing the grass up on the pit ,also worked on a dairy farm and used it for cleaning up the yard with a rubber scraper into a slurry pit .
Thank You BTP, this was a great video of the Big 8737, it was a surprise, beautiful tractor
Thank you for watching and commenting. I was excited to get to see an 8737.
Nice I enjoy MF equipment. Its also nice to see European equipment as well working
Thank you for watching.
@@bigtractorpower Thank you for shooting good informatative vids that everybody can enjoy
Good stuff. About the 3:38 mark looks like he hit a rock or an old stump.
There were a few large flint style rock tops sticking up on the surface of this field.
Yeah. Looked like he may have had a few dull or broken blades with the way the "cut" looked. Really like this Massey. Wish I had one in my garage.
Its definitely a rock in some areas of the province, the land has a very "solid" base with a thin layer of arable dirt on top.
Nice European looking set up
Thank you for watching.
Welcome to Quebec Canada. Hope you enjoyed your visit the province. Greetings from the Quebec city area.
It was a great visit. Impressive farming area. I filmed some Fendt tractors on the trip as well. Stay tuned for those.
Thank you BTP. Nice looking set up.
I was excited to get to film an 8737. Mowing hay was a different setting for sure.
Thanks for providing a worthwhile video to watch on a Saturday morning. Dose not look like a rotary cutter, are those spinning round disks that do the cutting ? Like the Massey Ferguson tractor. Be well to you and all @ BTP. Much Appreciated 🚜
Yes there are small blades across the bar that cut. They each have tie blades that spin. Very much like a lawn mower.
Just like in Norway 😊❤️
👍👍
He hit something pretty decent with his right mower on his first run. I was always told to get off the tractor and check the mower and make sure there is no foreign objects in the swarth that could cause damage to the following machine/harvester/baler
Well I asked the operator to pull in and go to show the action. A Fendt 714 has mowed the pass just next to it with out incident. It may have been a stone. The field had a few big ones under the surface.
Great video. I like the Massey 😀 they actually now have a 8740 and a 8740S...
Is the 8740S in North America yet? Massey’s website shows the 8737 only in the top spot. The 7700S series just got introduced a few weeks ago for North America but no sign of the 8700S even though Europe has had it for a while.
I'm not sure why Europe always gets everything first...
Holy crap ur in Canada , that’s good
I have had allot of requests to feature Canada. It was fun to film some AGCO machines in Quebec. I hope to visit some other provinces in the future.
Very nice rig ,thanks BTP.
It was a neat find. Thank you for watching.
+bigtractorpower I was really excited to see the thumbnail of a Massey Ferguson tractor. Really enjoyed it. It's impressive that you went all the way up to Canada just to film this machine out in the field. It's a really nice machine.
I like finding Massey machines to film. I filmed a few Fendts on the same farm.
yes and cutting so close to the ground you better know where the rocks are. On the first pass it hit a rock you could see it.
I bet breakdowns are normal and very expensive.
Wayne Rogers actually most breakdowns are really easy to fix, on that first pass the mower went right over the rock, no problem. However you gotta always check the skid-plates and cutter bar guards, if something is broken or missing you will break the cutter bar.
Which is extremely easy to replace actually.
welcome to Québec my freinds its supprise for me
Thank you. Beautiful farming area to see and film.
Very cool, thanks! Would have loved a close up of the underside of the mowers but even without it, was still a great video.
Next time I film this type of mower I will get that angle. Unfortunately as you can see it was raining in this video so it makes it hard to film with out getting the lense full of water drop lets. It is impressive the mower can run in the rain.
@@bigtractorpower Yes it is. Thank you for considering the post shot on the future. I really appreciate your videos. More people should be interested in the work and machinery that provides the world's food. Most interesting part is thinking about how much work, and how many people it would have taken pre-mechanizatio . Thanks again for the video.
Beautiful setup.
It can cover some ground.
ohhhhh yessss! something from Canada!
It was great to see farming in Canada.
Good video, Mpls MN, beats a JD "B" and 6ft sickle I used as a kid.
This set up can sure now some hay.
Awesome video as always. Great job big 🚜. From Australia
Thank you for watching.
they had some nice Euro FWA back in the yard too.
Yes they did. Stay tuned for more of the machines in the yard.
we just bought a pottinger in august a novacat 3507t hands down better heavier built cutter than the john deere for half the price so we told john deere to go to hell
I see allot of Novacats on John Deere’s.
Is the John Deere Mowers not just Kuhn Mowers painted green?
@@The-Lone-Wolf musn' t be we have a old Kuhn and it runs like clockwork.
I am not saying anything bad about Kuhn, and maybe it is only a newer thing where John Deere uses Kuhn Mowers. But if you google "Kuhn fc 3525 df" and "John Deere f310r" you will se they are basically the same....
Man, your videos are like offering candy to a fat person! That last shot in the field is better the the "swimsuit edition".
Now we all know what way you swing Fred.....
Welcome over
Thank you.
It's a nice combination.
It is a nice mowing set up. I have a Fendt mower on the way. Stay tuned.
Cool! I live in Montreal.
👍👍👍
More Massey! More American! Nice vid! 🇺🇸😄
rbnhd1976 it's all about the tractors not the country they're filmed in...
lov e it i drove massey to
The 8737 is a nice tractor.
Nice really like the Massey s
👍
That is the coolest machine I have ever seen. Thanks for the vid. More good stuff.
Mark Search for European farm setups. That's how they do it.
In Europe we only use this style of mover on big fields. If you already like this machine, search for the KRONE BIG M. You will love it!
It is Sam impressive set up.
Nice video and tractor thanx
You are welcome. Thank you for watching.
I do believe I'd delete the pollution crap & def need after the warranty expires. Is there a front PTO or is there a shaft that runs up from the rear? Are any of these cutters sold here in the states? Thanks for another fine video BTP.
There is a front pto and rear pto. Yes the Novacat is sold in the United States. I know a farm in New York that runs Novacats on a 7230R and 7310R.
Very nice!
Thank you Doug.
How much time are you gonna be in Quebec filming ? Nice video !
I spent a few days. I filmed a Fendt 512, 514, 714 and 824 as well. Oh plus a drive by of an AC 190XT.
Did you do film anything else while you were in Quebec?
Yes a few different Fendt tractors. A 514, 714 and 824. Stay tuned. I got to drive the 514.
Are up there filming what I think you are. Nice Massey by the way.
This was the first 8700 I have had a chance to film. It was a nice machine. I filmed some Fendt tractors but no Ideal yet. Maybe in October.
I really like your videos, and I've been a subscriber for a long time now. But I have a question: When I watch the older videos, the noise at the end (some might call it music, but it doesn't sound like it to me) was much shorter. Now it plays on and on for a loooong time without conveying anything. I always mute the endings until the noise is over. Could you go back to the simpler ending?
The end of the video where the scribe page appears and then a picture of a tractor with the social media logos?
Had to read where you were to understand how you say "Coaticook" with your accent hahaha still, Welcome to Québec! Should have filmed during the next weeks because harvesting already started a little
Thank you. I was worried about annunciation of Coaticook. I would have liked to see the harvest. I saw on field of corn chopped off and the beans were drying down pretty fast.
bigtractorpower yeah I live in Sainte-Madeleine a riral town and harvests for wheat abd canola were done like 2 weeks ago, Corn is close to be dry enough for harvesting with our last dry weeks and like you said beans are ready to harvest
Will you come back to Quebec some day?
Btw, it's pronounce CO-A-TI-COOK loll
Did the monitor in the cab indicate how many acres per hour? That's got to be north of 40 / hr.
The farm just mowed a few passes so I could film this set up up. I think a mower like this will cut 25 acres an hour, an sp swather will cover 12 and a pull type 8.
Do the rear dual tires run over the lucerne as it makes a pass or is the front mounted mower as wide as the tractor?
The front mower is a little bit wider than the tractor.
bigtractorpower okay thank you for the reply. I’ve just purchased a John Deere 7230R and will be running rear duals but it will also be our mowing tractor. In the process of looking at front mounted mowers so we appreciate the video.
Hi nice video good
Thank you.
Man the graphics for fs19 looks amazing... Lmao only kidding, thanks for reminding me i need to mow as well, i do have the front and back POTTINGER mowers. Really cool video, but is the tractor and mowers brand new? They look like he just got them from the factory.
The barn yard of this farm has a farming simulator look to it. The 8737 was introduced in 2014 so the oldest this tractor could be is 4.
I have that exact tractor as we speak, with the maximum HP with Duals all around. But that's what you get for keeping your stuff Like-new clean huh?
Austria Mowers 👍
Thank you for watching and commenting.
Is that a greenstar on the roof of the cab?? Great video as always.
It don´t look like a GREENSTAR from JD. I think it´s a GPS antenna from an other manufactor. The ACGO Fuse looks different too. Maybe BTP can say what they use...
It is Top Con. AGCO used Top Con gps for a few years. I have filmed AGCO, Gleaner and Challenger tractors equiped with Top Con.
bigtractorpower ok. Why dosent agco use top con anymore??
@@embassypictures.5629 because they have with Fuse their own system
LDan79 ok 👍
What are the flashing lights for?
They are transport beacons for road travel. It was raining and over cast. The operator left them on so the machine was more visible on camera.
Still ticked at Agco for not making the 1000 series varios in a Massey variant....
A Massey 1000 would be cool.
Wish I had this set up to cut my lawn. Be done in 1 pass.
That would mow a lawn fast.
@@bigtractorpower Might be a bit hard around the trees.
The Massey 8737 isn't the biggest tractor Massey has its the 8740. The 8737 puts out 370hp standard and boosted to 400hp and it has a sisutronic engine
I should have specified that in North America the 8737 is the largest Massey. The 8740 has not been introduced here. Eagerly awaiting for the introduction of the 8700S tractors in the United States.
Do each of the mower heads have built-in conditioners? It looks like they might.
yes. Poettinger offers different options for the conditioners.
@@LDan77
Thank you. Nice.
Beats the old Hesston swather I used to ride. 😎
This one has tine conditioners.
What’s a large squal bale
A 4x4 bale or larger.
Never knew that there are category 4 hitch
Yes it is an option. I think I have video on a Fendt with a category 4 to share.
How’s Canada treating ya eh!!!
Very well. Watch for more videos from Quebec .
How come they run duals on the mower tractor?
Less compaction to ground
Makes sense but seems wide for hay mowing.
It is just the set up they run year round. The duals are as wide as a big single and do not limit the mowing.
Nice to hear my hometown name on BTP. Who is the farm owner?
Very cool. I enjoyed my visit and seeing the local AGCO, Case IH and John Deere dealerships. I am not sure of the farm name. It was a few miles out of town where you turn by the Ford dealer. I filmed a few different tractors there. I hope I pronounced the town name correctly. I was nervous I might say the town name incorrectly.
I think you where at the Lafaille's farm. You pronounces Coaticook very well for an english speaking guy. I recognized it right away. Keep up the good work.
👍👍👍
Thank you for watching.
A cette .vitesse les lièvres sont morts 1:39 1:44
Massey mowing with duallys on the back instead of wide tires, north america why u so weird?
FFS turn those flashing lights off !
Farming simulator 17 I have the same one and setup with mover lol
Very cool.
Is this in America I'm used to watching a lot of European farming videos and not to America farming stuff lol even though I live in New York
Quebec. Canada
Where in NY? Most large NY farms have switched to these mowers on the last few years
This is in Quebec. A farm not farm from Batavia, NY uses two Novacats like this one.
I was asking all good where in NY. Who runs Novacats in Batavia, Lambs?
@@bigtractorpower yeah Ik a farm that uses the same mower
In europa you have also MF 8740 with 405hp www.austrodiesel.at/produkte/traktoren/mf-8700-s/
nice vid
Unfortunately Massey Ferguson has not offered the 8740 in North America yet.
A cette vitesse là les lievres sont morts
Looked at Massey's a while back. Their cabs were just garbage compared to JD, or even Kubota for that matter. Hard pass. Good video though, BTP.
What size Massey did you look
at? Thought this 8700 cab was equal to the other brands on the market.

I agree with Tucker Rodger this is just European stuff. I want to see big American farming equipment. Your making the same mistake Mike Less made showing Euro farming. There are enough channels out there showing European equipment already. Videos like this are why Mn Millenial Farmer is about to pass you and become the third largest RUclips channel on farming. Welker’s ant far behind pausing you either. Get back to American farming.
First
I like your enthusiasm.

I like to film all brands and I want to show all types of farm work where I can. It was excited to get to see farming in Canada. I appreciate the farmer for sharing his operation and machinery. This is North American farming in the case of this video. If I get a chance to film in Europe I would be excited to do so. I enjoy seeing farming around the world.
In the case of Mike Less I thought it was awesome he got to film in England. What was he supposed to do just not film farming while he was there?
As far as rankings I was not aware there was a race or competition. I just film as a hobby and enjoy sharing machines. I am honored BTP has so many fans.
The other channels do a nice job and it’s great they have a big fan base. There is a bigger world of RUclips as farming goes. Tractor Spotter has 500,000 plus fans, How Farms Work is 170,000, Peterson Bros 153,000, OLF 117,000, Grassmen 103,000, Trekkerweb 97,000, BTP 88,000, MN 84,000, Welker 80,000. All these channels work hard and have a great fan base. There are probably more channels with big numbers I have not heard of. So why rank them????
Also channels like BTP and Mike Less are listed as automotive where the others you mention like MN and Welkers are listed under people. Why does the ranking matter to you?
These type of triple mower set ups are used all over the upper Midwest dairy farms of the United States. Typical American farming really, any comment otherwise is just ignorance.
Yeah but they could use the American Massey Ferguson, John Deere or New Holland tripple mower.
For one, this was filmed in Quebec, Canada, and secondly the Pottinger might be the better mower, with better dealer support. Most American growers here run Pottingers and Claas, they claim they are the better mowers.
Just curious how me filming Euro stuff was a mistake while I was in Europe? I only have a handful of Euro videos on my entire channel. The biggest percentage of my videos are from North America. My RUclips is just a hobby of mine and by no means a popularity contest on RUclips. I'm lucky to have a job that allows me to work in rural areas around the country and sometimes other countries and I'm just sharing what I see.
