  • Thanks for watching! I love browsing 'Junk Shops' and finding treasures!
This certainly was a fun find! Maybe someday I can go back and snag the other two needles.

Hi Jessica, I hope you're all doing good xx 😘
Sorry can't help woth the Needle.
I like your interpretation of using the needle for Nailbinding.
I think there must be loads of tools out there that we use differently than how they might have been used for.
Like how we can use different things as a Distaff as an example.
Maybe you could do a Video Podcast on how to do Nailbinding.
Hope you have a Great Day/Weekend.
    Happy Spinning/Crafting
    Take care and stay safe.
Lots love, Big hugs and Blessings to you all. Jen xxxx ❤ 🙏 🐑🐑❤❤❣🫂🫂🫂

Doing well, Jen! It’s been a beautiful day. I did do one video on beginning Nalbinding, but it is about time to follow it with a tutorial in increasing stitches and decreasing. It’ll be fun! You take care too and love, hugs, and big blessings back :)

The needle you got may be a shawl pin or a kilt pin. Its the right size to go with a brooch ring, and would slip right into some wider-set weaves. I could very well be wrong though 😅

Oh goodness! That is such a cool idea! I will have to research to see what shawl and kilt pins look like haha! it does slip right into the stitches for nalbinding, so I could see it working as a pin. Though I wonder if they’re this heavy.

I love your new needle and I love doing nailbinding. I've been looking for your next video of unboxing your June Napa Valley Fiber Arts box. I can't find it anywhere. Did you just not get a box this time? I'd really love to see it if you did. Love your videos. Keep up all the wonderful work that you do.

I don't know about the needle, but I have seen people doing nailbinding (spelling?) before, I just haven't learned how yet. Have a great day. Blessings.

How did the bag turn out?

It's a needle used in sail making I believe. That is what I thought of and when I searched cd Dickenson iron needle, that was the first thing that came up for me, and the first few results really.
