Carving / 3D Printing an oak catchall using the Ooznest WorkBee CNC and the creality ender 3

- Here's a quick video of a catchall that i made using the @ooznest WorkBee CNC and the @Creality3D ender 3 3D Printer. I modeled this in Fusion 360 and created my toolpaths using @vectric aspire. I then cut a piece of oak using a 1/4" 2 flute flat end mill with zero tool changes. I finished it with an oil infused polyurethane. The pot portion was also modeled in @adskFusion and then i reduced the polycount in meshmixer to get a subtle low poly effect. I then printed it on the ender 3 3d printer in fibrology silk pla. thanks for watching!

I love the combination of Additive and Subtractive! Really shows how well they work together!
Yeah! it's always fun to mash up two different processes that compliment one another! thanks for watching :)
More of these bit please...love it 😍👍
Brilliant. I love the stain you used for the Oak
yeah im really happy with that stuff, its oil infused polyurethane so sort of an all in one that pops the grain a bit! thanks for watching :)
Love the cnc stuff more
thanks! lots more to come ;)
Nice
damn, thats realy cool
thanks!
More cnc vids please 😁
The amount of saw dust was crazy
yeah those pocket toolpaths really kick up some dust. dust collection needs some more work :(
Awesome work! Could you make another video to show how to model this pot in Fusion 360 and how to reduce the polycount in meshmixer to get a subtle low poly effect.
thinking maybe i'll stream the next design i work on!
Always nice content here, as much as on instagram
thanks i appreciate that! :)
Awesome work! What's the outer diameter of the 3d printed and the inner diameter of the wood? Curious about the clearance between the assembled parts
thanks!! i used an offset of .05" when designing the 2 parts just to be safe! resulted in a pretty nice fit ;)
hey wild rose, what printer would you recommend for around $350? idk if i should get the ender 3 pro or the artillery genius. im willing to do upgrades and i would really like to get nice quality prints. nice vid btw
Very beautiful achievements.
Should we deduce that you also use Grasshopper to model your 3D prints?
fusion 360!
Can you tell me
if I buy snapmaker 3d the 3 in1
is it good?
Have you been able to get rid of the seam on cylindrical prints? I thought I might have seen it there but maybe not?
Gotta say, I prefer it without the printed pen holder
yeah, i ended up putting a plant in that pot instead.
@@WildRoseBuilds looks like a nice plant pot :) The tray looks like you could sell it as a dice tray for tabletop gaming
You should get a shop and sell yout
А руками выпилить?
