Important note for all users upgrading to LWCAD 2018.3! Please avoid to use Round tool on surfaces. The official hotfix will be released on Monday Oct14th
I'm experiencing problems with round tool even remaking the polys with LWCAD 2020. Wasn't able to do the round on a poly, so I tried with a LWCAD poly or surf. If I press undo to try and restore something the geometry gets messed up.
@@architron Modo has it. You click change work plane, and then pick a polygon. Now when you draw a disc, or box, it will conform the orientation of the polygon.
Custom UCS plane is avaiable since LWCAD version 3 :) sites.google.com/view/lwcadmanual/lwcad-5-0/3-tools/1-create/1-ucs Before it was implemented in Modo :) And it was updated and tweaked several times since then. Fastest way is to use AUTO usc mode. Use the tool in perspective viewport lets say Rectangle tool and click to any polygon. UCS is automatically aligned to clicked geometry. If you set FIX UCS now , you can freeze that worplane for next tools apply. If you need more custom workplane, then use Ucs Face tool, so you can rotate workplane interactively. After you are done, just switch UCS back to AUTO mode. All tools in UCS group are related to worklane. UCS(workplane) modes can be switched in Snap panel.
Thanks Viktor. It was easy to get the update and the Activation key.
Fantastic work Viktor.
Thats really cool. Do u think is great for HARD SURFACE?
Thanks so much for the updates

Victor, I would love to see a working plan tool that would allow you to work right on a plane at any angle.
please explain this more, maybe some screenshot with detailed description. Please email it directly or via support. Thanks.

Yes it is compatible.
