You guys NEED to connect a vacuum line from the engine to the fuel pressure regulator so it can increase the fuel pressure with the boost of the supercharger, if you don't do that the engine will run lean and that will blow up the engine. Be very careful with that.

Check the condition of the subframe body bushings to see if they aren't bad. Even the newer stock bushings don't hold up well. You can switch out to polyurethane bushings as they are stiffer. The bolt torque specs for the 4 subframe to body bolts are 75-90 ft lbs. Factory assembly manual calls for minimum of 60 ft lbs after a roll test. The 2 front radiator support bushing bolts should be 30-40 ft lbs.

And on that front suspension, I wold put moog big block springs and a set of bilstein gas shocks , you will get the right height from the springs and a smooth race handling ride in the front ,nothing else is gonna handle and steer as good.

We took a small piece of flat stock the lengths of the slats (added another horizontally at the end and a "handle" to make it looks like a sword) and put it in the middle of the slats to keep them rigid and then sprayed the slats with WD-40. That made installing those much easier.

Hey there young fellas. Simon and Elizar, I'm almost 54 years old. I bought my first Camaro when I was 21, it was a 79RS T-Top 383 stroker with a manual 4 speed manual and a 411 rearend.
I've had 9 of the 2nd gen body Camaros.
That frame should ABSOLUTELY NOT be drooping like that on the lift. You DEFINITELY have an issue with either the body/frame, bushings/bolts.
Something is either missing, loose or broken. It SHOULDN'T do that when lifted. Something is up under that car. I would inspect everything, particularly the front upper body bushings at the firewall.
Love your videos, always interesting and entertaining. Keep up the excellent work fellas. Great to see young men interested in American musclecars.

Great idea on the console and shifter, looks awesome. The engine cradle flex was interesting and something to keep an eye on too. I think some extra bracing there might be in order.

Fellas, as it pertains to the chassis flex its a simple fix, just get a set of frame connecters from Jegs or Summit and weld them in. You will be amazed at the difference it will make.

Make sure to replace that driveshaft shield, if the driveshaft fails it will catch it , causing less accessory damage.

You should add a relay from an accessory wire for the brake switch to unlock the shifter. That way the key has to be on to get it out of gear

That whole newer dash could have probably been retro fitted to that 67. & the seats can also maybe be fitted you would just have to build a frame to bolt to your original seat position.

Dang you boys are starting to understand why people build custom cars. Putting your own spin on things is what it is all about. It's a fever. The fence slats been there done that the labor cost about five times what the cost to get the fence whit them already installed. Live and learn keep up the good work!

On older cars it's common to weld a connection from the front frame to the rear frame to increase body rigidity. Also helps the panel gaps and helps the engine tourqeing side to side not bend the frame or tweak it. On an engine like that it would be very wise to strengthen the frame

They make universal tablet slider that can be easily be molded into a dash bezel. It's designed to have a standard single din radio flush then the tablet docks over it. So a decent single din with Bluetooth and then use the tablet. You can even get a wireless backup camera that's in an app.
If you know someone with a 3D printer the files for the tablet and iPad sliders are easy to find.
You just cut your outer dash bezel , epoxy the slider into it and finish it with filler, sand and paint. It's a nice flush look with a standard single din behind it.
The single requires modifying a mounting kit to get it set back just enough to clear the back of the tablet/iPad but it looks amazing, the ability to use apps and remove it.
