i love that even in base form Lucci is just struggling to keep up.
We sort of knew about the Awakened Zoans robbing people of their personailty as the Jailers of Impel Down were Awakened Zoans who lost theirs. now the next part isnt confirmed, but im curious if the smoke sash around their shoulders only appears if A. they keep their personality or B. Oda just hadnt decided on that design back with the jailers. also as a side note only Luffy and Yamato have been shown with the white smoke so far.
It also makes me wonder if the Nika fruit is even capable of hijacking its user, being the mainfestation of freedom and liberation. Robbing its user of their freedom goes directly against its own existence.
@@PACMANnot Given the fact we know that the Nika fruit has somehow evaded the Government's attempts to obtain the fruit, whether it be by circumstance or some form of influence via the fruit, and their comments about no one having awakened it in 800 years. That Nika can only awaken if their personalities match, no need to override a personality if you are that compatible. otherwise i think that it would be a fruit that just wouldn't awaken like many we have seen in the series, potentially it would refuse to take that freedom from them like you said.
I really like these trains of thought, I'm still so curious how we will see Devil Fruits develop in the series when we went quite a long time without a lot being discussed about them
They showed Luffy's demon look here without it even being in the manga. Tons of people said "dude he is a demon". I can't imagine how the demon look that is IN the manga will be shown animated
That's one of the things I've really appreciated about the anime lately, those little moments the manga can't afford to fit into their limited pages, can be shown in the anime and man they are doing a great job.

Hot take, besides the hand to hand, ie background , the floor, coloring, I did not like the animation / colo scheme this episode but the hand to hand was amazing
You know what, a fair take. Hard thing with One Piece is how different each of the recent arcs look. The difference in style between Whole Cake, Wano and Egghead, is pretty big, so I reckon your view is very valid.
@@thesouthblue 100% def an opinion thank you for understanding :) I didn’t like wano at first but it grew to actually become my fav art style so far, I don’t think that will be the case for egg head but we will see !
@@mrorganic13 Nah always gotta respect people's opinion. Wano really grew on me too. I think I'm still a sucker for the look they went for in Enies Lobby but I always love seeing the new styles
