Dunia pugilis dikuasai oleh klan Wen yang kuat, yang juga mendominasi klan kecil seperi Lan, Jiang, Nie dan Jin. Wei Wuxian yang riang adalah sahabat Lan Wangji yang sangat saleh. Selama petualangan mereka, mereka mengetahui bahwa kepala klan Wen adalah dalang jahat di balik serangkaian plot yang akan mendatangkan malapetaka.
Upaya Wei Wuxian untuk melindungi orang yang tidak bersalah dari klan Wen berakhir menjadi bencana, kemudian ia pun menghilang secara misterius. Wei Wuxian muncul kembali enam belas tahun kemudian, dan bekerja bersama dengan teman baiknya Lan Wangji untuk memecahkan serangkaian misteri pembunuhan.
Drama ini diangkat dari novel Grandmaster of Demonic Cultivation yang ditulis oleh Moxiang Tongxiu.

This is one of the best drama I watch ever.story, costum, acting, actress and actor, director, they are very good and perfect. From the story, there is no excessive love from male characters to women like most dramas, and that really disturbs the storyline I think.
The romantic love is from male character to their fellow male character instead. Lan Wangji love Wei Wuxian in romantic way
the 7th times I rewatch this series. Wei Wuxian = Xiao Zhan = pretty boy. Lan Zan = Wang Yibo = handsome boy. they acted their characters so perfectly like in the novel "Mo Dao Zu Shi".
And don't forget that Wang yibo is known as such cold boy as Lan Zhan

For those people who looking for cdrama as first watcher i really recomendate you to watch this masterpiece!! Actually in the first and second episode u still dont understand why it happens. But just keep watch until up 5 episodes. U will get it. But for me, in the last episode, my expectation will be such a bloody fighting, but the reality is different. Over all i like this. Lan zhan and wei ying are so fantastic!!

My first salute for the Authors..the story is well written, second for the Director..it might hard to adapt story from the novel while keeping this as good as the novel, third for the Actor..Omo i love Wen Ning aka Paul Yu, his acting is very good ! He can switches from "weak person" to the the strongest one, Xue Yang nice antagonist who make the viewer emphatize to his story, Wei Ying i love when he's struggling, mad and crying but when he's so cheerful - his acting is too much 😅.
