This is months late but I want you to know that I feel for you, having to go through being stereotyped like that growing up. As young girls we are often times only told how pretty we are and then as we get older we begin to build our self esteem and identity around it and it’s a hard habit to shake. You are more than your body, you are a daughter, a friend, a lover, an intelligent being who is capable of much more than ‘looking pretty’. Not that I don’t like looking nice, I’m actually a personal stylist, but I dress for me and not to look attractive to men or conservative for my parents or fashion forward for my industry…and that makes all the difference in the world. It makes me feel great and I give ‘em something to stare at lol. I hope you and all the others that have the same thoughts have a happy and beautiful forever after

I chose pile 1. I notice people staring at me all the time that sometimes gives me a complex. Sometimes I want to turn and yell WHAT ?? because I get tired of people staring. Yes 3 I'm a total freak and shine brightly. As I've gotten older, instead of hiding, I embrace the attention (finally) because I want to encourage others to be their authentic selves. Sometimes, people get intense with me (aggro and competitive)--this part is not fun. Until recently, this tension with randoms could spiral however, this year, after a "dark night of the soul" and doing a lot of shadow work, I move strongly aligned with God. I was drawn to pile three like a moth to a flame, I have to say I was blown away at how it made me feel, thank you so much. Pile 3 and Pile 1. Thank you for the readings! 🌹 I am reminded that people do stare at me. They do want to know what I am thinking, and what I might have to say. Earlier today I recalled a memory from my childhood in which a teacher wanted to study me. This teacher was completing work on a Ph.D. or paper on education or teaching, and asked my mom if he could observe me in the classroom. I am different. I am discerning. I don't gossip. I can chit-chat, but not for long. Before I realize it I've taken a turn toward deeper topics or deeper into one topic. And not everyone I talk with is prepared. So, I keep most of my thoughts to myself. I converse with the universe all the time, especially while walking or riding the bus or a car.

Pile 3 & 4 ✋! Pile 3 made me feel a little awkward and shy - I’ve been told that I’m “classically beautiful” by friends before, but I’ve always had some of that ugly duckling syndrome, so others putting me on a pedestal made me confused and I have always resisted it. This was a reminder for me to keep working on healing that part of my shadow, and to integrate my outer beauty as being a part of my whole.
Pile 4 was enlightening! I’ve always felt connected to an unknown source even as a small child. Wisdom would come to me before I “should know” - even at 4 or 5, which often surprised the adults in my life. As I’ve gotten older and into the working world, my different approach to doing and seeing things has not always been favored by others, but I often struggle to see another way forward, and it’s never let me down. The hardest part is getting others to see the vision with me, or at least to trust it. Thank you for the reminder and the confidence boost to love myself inside and out, and to trust my intuition. I didn’t consider that others would find that as something beautiful and valuable. Lots of healing today!
