Rich can't compensate for a questionable offensive line and questionable coaching last year. They’re so desperate to actually be right about a young QB for once they’ll take any sign as confirmation that they were right. Confirmation bias in action
I watched Justin for 3 years. He’s an electric athlete but he never in a million years could make like any at least 4 passes I’ve seen Caleb make already. The only two that could are younger Rodgers and current Mahomes
@@john861 And now you watched Caleb WIlliams for 4 quarters against mostly backups and you came to this conclusion? That the only QBs in history of the game that are as good as Caleb Williams are Mahomes and a prime Aaron Rodgers? You should get a job on Eisens show with top-tier analysis like this
Rich can't compensate for a questionable offensive line and questionable coaching last year. Half the time Fields made a big play it got called back with a holding penalty and the other half he was running for his life with poor protection and he only had a few reliable weapons to go to. Plus his coaches tried to make a running QB a pure pocket passer in one season. It just didn't come together for Justin Fields in Chicago. His Bears record is really no reflection of his talent or Rich's assessment of his abilities.
It's pronounced gif not gif
11-6
He made some highlight plays but I saw way too much running around rather than throwing from the pocket where a QB should be throwing from. I actually was more unimpressed.
Lol you are stuck in the 1900s. Statue QBs are going the way of the fullback.
@@iankane3732 I love running QB's Iove lamar, vick and jayden daniel gona be great. Caleb has enormous talent but has to learn to throw from the pocket, cant just run around every play the way he is, running everywhere for his life then trying to make the spectacular play every time, wont be successful that way.
@@gsp3428 I'm sure you said the same stuff about mahomes. The best QBs are able to do that.
@@iankane3732 Yes I totally agree the best QBs can do that, but they shouldnt be doing that almost every time they drop back. They should first be able to throw from the pocket and go through their progressions, then if nothing is there they should be able to do what Caleb does, but he is just doing it way too much.
@@gsp3428 he's not doing that every dropback lol. I don't think you've actually watched him play.
Stafford had megatron and couldn't win a playoff game barely made the playoffs won like 1 division title...the rams have missed the playoffs and not won a playoff game more times than winning with him despite having the good team and coach to do it...even if you have the star qb it is so hard to get everything else right....rodgers favre both won 1 ring...manning won 1.5....wilson won 1 flacco and ryan combined won 1....mcnab kelly marino and phillips never won brees won 1....warner won 1 simms won 1 as the starter same for young....
Kid looks good. But that division looks really good. Gonna be a tough road the 2nd half of the season with all those division games.
I wouldn't play him, play it safe before the season starts.
8/9 season miss the playoffs but miss some close ones . Da Bears
9 and 8 is the best they can hope for. Back end of the season is going to be demoralizing. W,L,?,L,W,W,Bye,?,W,W,L,W,L,L,W,L,?L . None of this changes the fact that they’re playing outside, its going to be cold, and that arial attack will be all but snuffed out.
Think you are off on that
DA BEARS 🥰💙🧡
Beat Down!! 🐻🏈🐻
Lol like bro why is it almost everyone who is trusted in the sports world keeps talking about what THEY SAW. WITH THIER EYES y’all it’s a reason ppl say the eye test is the most important in sports
It’s what everybody is saying. I know what I saw & ppl eyes not lying.
Lmao it’s the preseason. Let’s chill out before declaring yourselves as correct.
Let’s wait and see how he does against an actual NFL defense with actual defense scheming and mind games.
He literally spent 3 minutes saying exactly that.
Especially since he couldn’t get a first down against the Bengals second string. Once it was only rookies and practice squad players did the Bears finally move the football.
You watch these RUclips sports commentary channels in the preseason but you don't want them to make assessments and predictions based on peerformances they just watched? You expect commentators to just quote stats or something and not have theoretical discussions? Sounds boring AF.
Pat wasn’t dropped lol they literally traded up to get him
The bears got lucky with caleb...the chiefs scouted mahomes while the bears picked mitch
I see the Bears winning 8 or 9 games this season.
It'll be at least 10-11... We almost won 10 last year by accident.
At most. Packers and Lions both won in the playoffs last year and didn't lose anything in the off-season
@@jordan234674how is going 7-10 almost winning 10?
I believe that Caleb is the Bears franchise quarterback. I believe that he will be the best QB in the NFC by end of next season. With that said i was at the game on Saturday. I can tell that these national guys don't watch games. Caleb looked bad to mid until the last drive. Part of it was the play calling. Just abysmal even by pre season standards. People praising the Sat performance let me know they just saw highlights.
Big fan of yours Rich but some of your videos just don’t age that well.
Yet Bagent has been better looking boring doing it. Numbers don't lie!
Just beat GB 2x!!!
If you people can just let the man do what hes gonna do let the bears enjoy his rookie year..stop over talking everything....stfu
Bo Nix:
> 7 drives. 6 scoring drives producing 30pts, and 1 drive thwarted by a TE fumble.
> 23 - 30 for 205 yards, 2 TD's, 0 INT. 6 carries for 29 yards.
I expect more from Caleb Williams, since I'm constantly told how much better he is than Bo Nix
No body cares about Bo Nix. If he wins people will start to. Williams is the number 1 pick which will garner attention.
Maybe wait until a regular season game happens before you compare the 2
He went 4-8 19 yds at one point against backups and I'm supposed to believe he's a world beater 🙄😂
So, according to your nonsense, Bo Hix is the best QB in the history on the NFL. WE expect nothing less from you. 2 years ago, Wilson was going to save your crap team. Then Peyton. Now Bo. GO FISH!
@@73ajd1 Wow! When you exaggerate, you really go full-throttle.
under 50% completion makes him generational?
If the Bears key players stay healthy there is no reason they won't easily make the playoffs and get past the first round or two at least.
The haters are so pathetic just appropriate greatness you dorks
10 for 20 with 160 passing yards and zero passing TDs…lmao
Go look at CJ stroud's statline from last preseason and get back to me, mmkay?
@@iankane3732 Caleb isn’t going to replicate the best rookie season of all time, delusion
@@ninjalbatross first off stroud didn't have the best rookie season all time, justin herbert did. Second off, I never said he would replicate it I'm just pointing out how you likely would have made the same stupid post last preseason about CJ stroud(and you probably did tbh) and would have been quite wrong. Third off, he very well could.
I don’t doubt Williams is gonna be successful as a QB. But he was praised as the best QB prospect since Andrew Luck. Do I believe he can be THAT good. Mind you Andrew Luck carried some terrible Colts teams to championship games. What a waste of talent
Hahah he hasnt even gone up against a team in the regular season with 100% starters. The click bait is so real.
I'll believe it NEXT year when he's still good. We get new QB's and have a playoff year, and then nothing the next 3 until the coach is fired and we start all over. I have seen this cycle too many times, Rich.
🐻⬇️😎
Rich no one will blame you come to the dark side. We will accept you!
Liar Rich Eisen doing damage control on HORRIBLE Caleb. 🤣🤣
Same song they were playing for Zach Wilson just for a couple of throws off platform after a bunch of 3 and out's. Still hasn't faced a real defense in the NFL
If you can’t see the difference between Wilson and Caleb, I don’t know what to tell you
Lol. yeah it’s the same thing
