It is so much fun to ride along with you. This is the exact section of the BRP I take when I only have an hour to get out and ride. It’s equal distance for me to get to each entrance. Wow 🤩 that is a beautiful machine. I totally agree it is a work of art.
Glad you enjoy it! That's my go-to section as well, I can be there in 15 minutes, ride it, then 15 minutes back to the house. All-in if I have just an hour to ride, I can do that loop and it makes for a very nice way to unwind and relax!
Just rode the BRP this weekend from Buena Vista to Meadows of Dan, VA on my 02 Boxer Cup Prep. Also have a RDL seat like yours but square pattern, super comfy, makes those long days in the saddle much easier.
Awesome, I typically find the BRP is always a good and relaxing ride! I agree with you and I’m a huge fan of the RDL seats. I only put them on bikes I want to keep long term, like the R1100S, so comfortable!
I will never sell my 2005 BMW R1100s Boxercup. I live in the San Francisco bay area and Haven't seen one in 15 years. I rarely ride it as I have other bikes but, It's definitely fun to ride when I bring it out And gets a lot of attention. 😎😎
Very nice looking in that red white and blue paint scheme. Mine is60k, classic Black Beauty and I still like it for its individual character.. my other is r1150r. Certainly at idle and the torque thrust you can notice a little Vibe but actually on the the highway 80 to 90 is kind of a sweet spot. For a twin it's pretty darn smooth and love that torque.!!! ** Signed by the only dialysis patient riding a BMW. 😎🙏🙏
I have the same bike, purchased this summer from the original owner with 27k miles. I'm doing some upgrades over this winter and I have some questions about the upgrades that you did to your bike. Is there a possibility of an email conversation?
Congrats Thomas, they are great machines! I’m PatBelangerGSA@gmail.com. I really love the bike but I am not an expert. One of the best sources of information I have found is the R 1100 S USA Facebook group. There are some guys out there such as Colt Self that are just unbelievable, they are truly experts about this bike.
People can’t see it when I’m riding it, and that’s what I’m doing with it. It’s a sport bike that’s more comfortable than a standard bike. I also have bar risers on it, and a tank bag, plus mounts for hard bags. 😀
Congrats! My dealer here in North Carolina said he thought the number was 300 in the US. He believed BMW sent over 2 per dealer and there were around 150 dealers at the time. Either way, they are rare, I’ve only seen 1 other one while I was out riding.
I used to have an R1100rs, great bike. Always lusted after a Boxercup or an HP2.
I’ve always wanted an HP2, but they are almost impossible to find anymore!

I have an 03 Boxer Cup and love the looks too.
Good looking bike. I just picked up an 04 r1150rt and was thinking about taking it to the parkway tomorrow. Then I ran into your video.
Thank you, and I really like those RTs, some day I hope to have one. They are so cool and I think the RT concept was ahead of their time.

What a cool looking bike.
Thanks, appreciate it, ever since I saw one in a show room, always wanted one, so it was awesome to find this one used and in great shape.

Nice bike ❤❤❤😊
Thanks ✌️
Love your bike. My next bike is going to be an "S".
Thanks Bryan. They are not the most powerful bike out there, but they are extremely reliable and well built. I’ll keep mine forever…..
@@Pats2Wheels I've owned a 2002 R1150RT and a 1995 K1100RS. Both were stellar bikes.
💯👍
Horrible seat on a sport bike 😢

I believe they only made 500 of them. I have 1 as well and I love it
