In the early 60's we lived outside of Detroit. Was a major Al Kaline fan. When I got back into collecting in the late 80's I had a chance to buy a Topps 55 second year for $50. Couldn't pass up the price for a childhood hero. Still my favorite card.

Lou Gehrig is a awesome pickup, great Yankee legend! I would be just amazed to see all those vintage cards at a big card show even though I could never afford them! Glad you enjoyed yourself at The National! Hope to attend a card show sometime!

I've just been tearing my Wonder Franco's in half and throwing them in the garbage I had a lot of his most valuable ones and a few autographs so I want to endorse him after he got arrested for what he had done and I just felt that I was going to have any cuz I just thrown away and it's so sad too because for some reason I was just pulling a ton of his and the best ones when they first opened the packs before all the law came down on him😢
Pulled a Elly lightboard logo card from my blaster (case hit), anyone have a idea of the price on it??? I cant find a reference online anywhere.
I just got back from the national and spent like 400 bucks. Cant imagine 20k congrats. Insane pickups cant wait for the rips

Jabs man I HAD to tell you; that day you were there, I was walking by a table and a dealer & buyer were having a screaming match and almost came to blows. The guy bought a $600 autographed card (not graded), took it to grader: FAKE. So he runs back wanting his money back and they almost came to blows. Lacking security

Hopefully when those old boxes of Topps baseball cards get ripped open they don't get ripped open on a auction. I work night shift during the week and would love to see these cards. I recently picked up a autograph Ryne Sandberg baseball card for 80 dollars. Sandberg wss my favorite baseball player of all time and I'm starting to rather have autograph baseball cards of older players whether there HOF or not.
