if you can't find someone with compass you just need to go get find a portal to hysteria and locate it in map. Then go back to sand grain bazaar and accept the mission. Go to the portal you've found before. Just in case you said those words in irony. I'm sure you're smart enough to thought of it :d
This guide needs a rework. What I did was the following: 1. Train a camel until you get quick steps, takes a couple of hours with full buffs. 2. Take off all your crystals, run your camel in a straight to hysteria cliff side, fall to your death inside the cavern, fairy or tear and run to Bert.
PROTIP for Herald's Journal Hystria part: Just run up from Sand Grain and get in the black hole till you get Hystria, then once inside just use the Escape Function, it will teleport you to the NPC you need to talk.

Tips regarding and . If you dont find the Iliya island, go there with the griffon once from Velia to discover it, then after that you can use the map. 2nd tip, not everybody has a friend ready to help you with the magical compass--well I didnt have--it will take awhile, but you can do the quest line that gives you a teleport from Aakman node NPC (it costs x1 Black spirit claw but the questline gives you this as a reward as well) directly to Hystria, next to Bert. I have Pegasus, auto walk from Sand Bazzar to this NPC took 4:30min, used the teleport, right next to me there was Bert. The questline that gives you compass does take a few hours. But it might come in handy in the future as well, access to Hystria, and honestly I wasted 2h+ roaming in desert in search of RNG spawn of Hystria, on top of that, it was anyway too far from Sand Bazzar, and wouldnt have made it anyway. Good luck!!!

As I dont have a dream horse, but a T7 courser, i jumped from Valencia Palace to the rooftops, in strait line, to the deset, and then used the map trick... I forgot to fill in water and anis tea, so i almost died... But in the end i finish it with 12 seconds left.... Thanks again!

The last quest is literally a big pile of bull on ps/Xbox. Can’t sprint horse through continent size Altinova. So it easily kills massive time, this doesn’t include massive ap closing from entering some of the most populated towns in game. The gps system pretty much always brings you through heidel before velia which can massively kill your time as you have to finish in heidel not velia…
hmmm for console version idk how to navigate or control BDO properly when riding horse, but for PC version you can follow this guide ruclips.net/video/C3SjRsY7DF8/видео.html since BDO Console and PC have same mechanic, you can try to follow how to ride horse properly to faster your horse running, with some adaptation key on console
for chapter 3 they increased the timer from 12 to 15 minutes. I finished it with kuno's Target Chase and lvl 5 movement. Had 20 seconds to spare to beat it within 12 minutes. Should be plenty of time with any class on foot now.
omg I never thought to use a traveler's map to go to Illya. I had such a hard time with that quest. I did complete it, but barely. Used an epheria cog. I'm on the part of book 3 where I need to kill the gahaz bandits, and I would always finish it after time ran out. I'm higher ap now, and after seeing you use w+f, I think I can complete it faster now. Never thought to use w+f.
sure any of my video guide I always optimize it with any tips and trick to faster and easy finish all content, so make sure you didn't skip that part ^^

I have a t8 courser & a Hashashin max speed i teleport but get to Calpheon with like 1min. On console we can't sprint on our horse in safe zones/towns. This blows lol any tips to finish faster
@@ChrisPolibdo i just finished the quest. My mistake was going to Heidel before Velia. So on console the quest is shortened if we go to Altinova, Velia, then Heidel the quest ends soon as you talk to Npc in Heidel no Calpheon & no Rubin. Even though the quest says to talk to Rubin but says nothing about Calpheon lol.

I have done all the mainquests and this crucio domongatt dude(serendia npc) wont talk to me when I tried to do the chap3 last quest. It just says i need to get knowledge via serendia mainquest(which i have completed to my knowledge???).
you can't talk with any NPC if that NPC require some questline or knowledge to talk make sure you have Jarette Domongatt: Amity 501 or Carolin: Amity 201 to talk with this NPC

The quest was changed to just catch any blue grade fish and the best place to fish is Balenos river now

I have Dine and I cant rush to Calpheon for the last quest, Do I need ardunatt or what kind of items should I put on my Dine?
t7 which can run (Drift, IA) also already enough, try using any tips that I show you on this video to cut your desert traveling
