I did a 29-mile, 11-hour horse ride out of the Shoshone Wilderness mountains immediately following a brutal snow storm in 2017, all while listening to Illenium. None of the other cowboys knew my hearing protection was also playing EDM the whole time. Snow was too deep to ride until we got down into the valley, so we walked alongside the horses for a good portion of that trip. On another Illenium note, the fireworks just before his set at EDC 2019 were the best I'd ever seen. I've lived in Montana forever though, so seeing a show like that was a bit outside my comfort zone. Regardless, I have a ticket for this year's EDC and I hope to see him perform again. Perhaps I will mention the horse ride if we get a chance to speak...
