moving as an adult seems so stressful and overwhelming, I dont blame you for feeling the way you do! im the same way as you, I have so many emotions and feels about situations like this, so happy for the two of you and excited to see this new chapter!! 💗
I am so like you that I get so overwhelmed with things that I think I tend to freeze and not get anything accomplished! (Then I feel way silly later). What helps me so much is making lists because then I feel like a super star when I check things off 😆 Also not having a ton of caffeine when I have big things to accomplish helps, combined with deep breaths and forcing myself to get out of the environment even for a minute. I also say tons of prayers when my chest gets heavy and then love on my dogs calms my anxiety gets huge.
So excited for you, Max, and Brody on this next chapter of life! The Cape was meant for you guys!!! Also, I am obsessed with your pink lounge set you were wearing towards the end of this video, where is it from?

Gretchen I know you're always saying you don't want to self diagnose but I'm just letting you know that I have ADHD and you remind me so much of myself in so many ways, I have all the same struggles as you with your distractibility and general mood (I don't even know how to describe it now) but I'm the exact same way with moving, trying to figure out the best way to pack everything while also being efficient sends me in a spiral. You're not alone!
Awww, when you were crying and said you had to say goodbye to this place I burst into tears for you. Your beautiful and tender heart is so refreshing in a world that can often seem cold. Thank you for the amazing content and vlogs. I have watched some of your videos in the past but finally subscribed today. My mind does exactly the same. We moved from our first home just after a year, the change no matter if it is good or bad sends my head into a spin. It also doesn’t help that I’m controlling too so need to know where everything is and what’s going on. Unfortunately I don’t have any tips, but it’s always helpful to have a supportive partner by your side or friends and family, and just let yourself have a cry don’t hold it in. Congratulations on your new home, it’s so lush to see you doing so well xx

I feel the same way about transition periods and saying goodbye to places even though you’re excited. I completely understand!! It’s so hard but also exciting at the same time!
I am so sentimental just like you. I teared up every time we moved too and I'm so bad with change we bought our current 'forever' home right around the corner from our last house, a 5 min walk, because we wanted a bigger house but I loved our street and neighbourhood so much I didn't want to leave it lol. Our kids didn't even have to change their bus stop.
