That's because it's a bistable illusion. Depending on the device and if you're using headphones or a speaker, the way it's played can effect what you hear based on the frequency of the sound. It's like the dress from a few years ago, some people saw blue and black, others saw white and gold. It depends on many different factors like lighting or how well your device displays color and imagery. The Laurel and Yanny clip is actually two different recordings laid over one another. Laurel in a lower pitch, and Yanny played higher. So depending on the device and how the track is played, it could sound like either to anyone. So, in this scenario, no is is truly correct.

Nadia Sørensen i read somewhere younger people can hear the yanny voice more due to some pitch/volume thing, these are all adults-probably why most hear Laurel. Most at my school hear Yanny. So if you're younger probably why you hear Yanny :)
