If you REALLY listen to the WHOLE interview, you'll hear Joss Stone say she didn't know that they didn't do albums back in the day. Anyway, I think Anthony made the "stars" feel comfortable and managed to engage them in a meaningful way. It struck me that the interview was a lot like his album reviews - funny (yeah Ant, Dead Kennedys - quick thinking!) insightful and honest. And who the hell is "Tony"?.
Great to see Mick Jagger answer the stupid questions Joss Stone always gets asked about her authenticity and professionalism. He obviously respects her as a musician, loved the the way he expressed that deliberately and explicitly in her defence.

I really like the collaboration and feel it was a fantastic example of artists getting together in an unpredictable way and creating something great. On a separate note, if there was a director working on this interview they should have noticed that the men were not giving Joss a chance to talk. Ive watched this interview a few times now and it becomes very noticeable that the men, (who I do really like and respect as artists) are so focused on their own opinions and perspectives that they were not sensitive to giving Joss a chance to talk. Her opinion within this collaboration is and would have been just as valid and supportive to the project, as she is one of the top Soul R&B vocalists of our times. This is a clear example of male dominance, and as a director myself see a very clear point to redirect the balance of the interview. I believe if they would have been redirected to that sensitivity, all three men would have totally agreed, in-turn Joss would have had a voice within the context of the groups collaborative project. If you've watched Joss and followed her both in interview and live audience engagement, she's a very intelligent woman and a world class vocalist. There are moments within this interview where you can see Joss actually trying in a Ladylike manner to contribute within the interview, and being over talked by the men. Not to take away from the actual project, this album and all of the songs are wonderful and its a truly great album.
Awesome!! The different, eclectic sound is very unique and I just love this them and their album. It was an "experiment" and I am so glad to have gotten the album that came out in 2012. It is a different sound for all the band members and is not their norm but, I love them - it is very Unique and awesome - change is always good! To each his/her own - as everyone has their right to their own opinions but, I really like SuperHeavy's sound!!
I was expecting Anthony to have really messed up, you know, from all these comments.... but what the hell, he totally smashed it! what's wrong with you all! weirdos.
@DaedalusMinion Sir, please explain to me. He stated facts. What makes him dumb? Did he call them bad? No. He just stated that the band name doesn't fit the genre at all.
no i watched to hear from all the bandmates, dave, joss, a.r., mick, marley...next time lets get them all into it!! fun licks and who DOESNT ENJOY JOSS?? LOL!!
WTF? How come he meets Mick Jagger and Im just finding this accidentally? And he didnt say anything bout this as if nothing happened 0_0 (on his main channel I mean)
>Worst interviewer >Because of the camera I'm not sure if it's physically possible for him to alternate between sitting like that and adjusting the camera all while holding up that conversation. If you have complaints about the camera angle, blame the camera man and the editor. Not that I really think it matters whose face they're showing...it's a conversation, they're just sitting there. Calm down.

She is much younger and maybe don't so accustomed with interview, but in the record they let Joss takes her place.
@@Methilde Joss is lovely on every song 🌻💕💫
I love SuperHeavy... can't stop listening...
Ohhhohh you're a miracle workerrrr ohhohhhh you're a surgeon of loveee...
Despite a decade plus long RUclips stint afterwards, this pinpoints the exact moment Anthony Fantano peaked.

Mick seems nice and senile in this video.
Although I don't really care for this band, I found this to be a great interview, gently sharp and politely tense.

@Ninja339 Those are good records. Thats why he gave them to the band.
I like the musicians separately, but i don't think they have any musical tastes in common. This just looks like a large marketing ploy.
