People usually complain they don't have the tools to do bushcraft stuff, but in reality they just lack patience and skill. You've built a nice table with really basic tools. Great job man, awesome videos.
That must be such a rewarding smoke and a cuppa after literally making your own table from the surrounding materials. Love these vids please keep them coming ❤
For my pipes, I find that a little “poker” or “tamper” helps a lot. I was doing a poor job of loading tobacco, and tamping it down into the bowl with a finger tip. It was often leaving a void at the bottom of the bowl. I broke off a twig that was about 1/8” inch in diameter by about 3” long. Using that to tamp in layers of tobacco worked much better. It might work for your pipe too? OOPS! And you had a tamper already! 😏 Courtesy of Half Vast Flying
Haha ya it's not a big deal to replace. It was harder on my pride knowing that I had once again forgotten to pack something. Thanks for watching! Happy trails.
Enjoyed the construction work. Have you ever done a video on axe / hatchet sharpening ? I always notice how sharp and nicely filed they are. Keep an eye on that cut on your finger. ENJOYED !
Man Riley, that log did not want to separate from each other 😆, trying to catch up with your videos, I've been so busy 😩, loving the series, keep up the great work 👍🤙🤙🤙
You have a lot of patience there brother. I just found a ship auger in an antique store I got at a right price looking forward to doing some of the same stuff.
Hey Riley, loving your videos. You probably don't remember me but you helped me a couple years back to get into carving and I've been making spoons. I remember in one of your older videos you had this hand drill but that you could adjust the size of the bore. I think it had a hollow top so you could just get a stick and put it through. Would you be able to let me know where I can get one?
Another relaxing and enjoyable adventure. Loving the bushcraft as usual and I don’t think anyone I follow in this genre even comes close. Can we put a name to the face please. Best wishes from London
Really enjoying this group of tarp videos. Love the Helle knife too. My preferred brand of knife too. In fact just brought two that i will be gifting to my grandsons next month. Can you please tell me what the pot with the half moon handle is?
I'm certain your grandsons will be thrilled!! The small pot/kettle is made by Uberleben and is called the Kessel Pot. Thanks for watching! Happy trails.
Great video series! Enjoying every moment! Why did you use the broad side of the axe head instead of the poll when hitting the wedges in to split the log? Looking forward to the next video:-)
Thanks! They've been a lot of fun for me to make. I bought the pipe second hand. I fixed it up and gave it a good cleaning now it's a great little addition to my collection. I find lots of old pipes at antique stores. If you're willing to put in a little work to fix them up and restore them you can get a lot of great pipes for quite cheap. Hope this helps! Happy trails.
Can I come and hang out with you? I am old enough to be your dad, and I don't have many bushcraft skills, but I can tell a dirty joke now and then! Loved the video.
The wound on my finger is from a small burn I obtained the first night of this trip. I covered it with spruce sap and charcoal to keep it from getting infected.
Thanks for tuning in! I got a small burn on my finger the first evening I was out. I kept it covered with spruce sap and charcoal to prevent infection. That's why it looks the way it does.
This is real peace for eyes and soul ❤️👀 these are my fav videos 🙌🏻‼️

Always a pleasure to see your videos in my inbox. Excellent work.
Thank you for watching!
It's great to see true bushcraft!! Love and respect from the UK 👍
Thank you for tuning in! Happy trails!
Awesome! Living in the woods vs. a camping trip. Alway strive to live in the woods.

Had to chuckle at the forgotten pipe tamp issue. With your skill set, that’s about the easiest item to replace, I’d think.
Haha ya it's not a big deal to replace. It was harder on my pride knowing that I had once again forgotten to pack something.
Thanks for watching! Happy trails.
THROUGHLY enjoyed this video. Looking forward to the chair/bench idea. Sweet!😁👍

Wow that hatchet is scary sharp. Great video!!!
👍👍 You're one of the best axe/hatchet guys I've seen here on YT, great skills and patience. Nice table, now for a chair eh.. Great video, thanks.
Thanks for sharing again. Love the table.
Thank you for tuning in!
Just itching to run a plane over that table😄Nice work👍
Haha same here! A plane would make a lot of these projects end up a lot more refined.
Always great to see you enjoying the great outdoors! Looking forward when you discuss your new cookware!! Great little pipe!!
Thanks for watching!
You have great bush-craft skills. Every one of your videos teaches me something. Be safe!
Thank you very much! Happy trails!
@@KuskBushcraft to you too!
Wise man, you carry bear mace. Especially good idea since you cook up some good vittles.
as always a glimpse into the fundamentals of bushcraft...

another excellent episode! painful watching you grind away at those sockets on your table but true to form you made it work. 👍🏼✌🏼🖖🏼
It's not too bad of a process. Plus it's good to practice using a knife for different types of tasks. Thank you so much for watching! Happy trails.

Nice..😉👌👌
How long would you say it took overall in making the table? Great video, man!
Probably around 7-8 hours I'd say. Thanks for watching!
Great table!
Wondering where you got that pipe from. Looks perfect.
Thank you for tuning in! The pipe was bought second hand. I restored it and now it's a great little smoker. Happy trails!
Absolutely love your content and products at camp 💯 👍what is your favorite pipe tobacco ?
Thank you! My favourite blend to this day is Samuel Gawith Navy Flake. Sadly it's hard to come by these days. Happy trails!

Good skills 👍
Thanks!
All you need
Szép videó lett!😀 Nyomtam egy like!👍
Great video series! Enjoying every moment! Why did you use the broad side of the axe head instead of the poll when hitting the wedges in to split the log?
Looking forward to the next video:-)
More surface area to strike with so it's less likely to break the wedge by striking the edge of it.
Thanks for watching!
I like your saw, very cool. How long did it take to cut through that tree?
It was probably close to an hour haha.
@@KuskBushcraft Cool.
nice
Really enjoyed the wood craft, using your axe. Where did you get the g enormous tea bag?
Thanks! The tea is Twinnings English Breakfast. I believe the tea bags are just regular sized.
Witaj Przyjacielu dziękuję za wspólną przygodę pozdrawiam serdecznie ciebie oraz twoich bliskich 🤗👍👏💪🐺🐾🏞️🥇☕🍰🧸💚🙌
How often might you need to sharpen your knife or axe head for a build such as this?
I didn't sharpen my blades at all during this trip. Just the occasional stropping is all it took to maintain a razor edge.
How do you handle the ticks?
Not many ticks in my neck of the woods. Haven't seen a single one this year so far.
Really enjoying these videos, where did you get that pipe from? It’s a perfect size. 👍🏻
Thanks! They've been a lot of fun for me to make.

Can I come and hang out with you? I am old enough to be your dad, and I don't have many bushcraft skills, but I can tell a dirty joke now and then! Loved the video.
Do you find mushrooms a lot? The edible ones? Would like to see them in some videos too.
Excellent!👍
Thank you!
👌
🎖️🌟🔥
I ALWAYS forget something when I go camping.
👍👍
Hope your finger recovers soon!
Already healed! Thanks.
how many ticks per trip do you get?
So far I have yet to see a tick this year. Not many in my area.
😃
Log tables are what I used at school in lieu of a calculator.
Imagine needing to take a dump but being afraid to attract bears.
did you cut your finger with axe?
The wound on my finger is from a small burn I obtained the first night of this trip. I covered it with spruce sap and charcoal to keep it from getting infected.
:D
🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲
What happened to your finger?
Small burn wound I covered with spruce sap and charcoal to prevent infection.
how old are you?
@14:49 Blunttime!
I watch most of your videos on mute. WTH happened to your finger?
Thanks for tuning in! I got a small burn on my finger the first evening I was out. I kept it covered with spruce sap and charcoal to prevent infection. That's why it looks the way it does.
You're expending ALOTTA Calories bro... I thought you was "teaching" survival skills....
One of the few “Kusk Bushcraft” vids I did NOT enjoy!
Why is that?
Sorry to hear!
Wounds adorn men. Especially when they're on their fingers after hard work.
Well said!
Awesome work mate!! Your skill is incredible 😎
