Hey man I wanted to say that you make some great videos and you are very entertaining to watch. Also I am leveling up my game learning some great new techniques from you. Keep the video's coming.
Mate, I've been painting statues for years - and have built up a huge, very good looking collection that I'm proud of - but your videos have taught me so much - particularly with the zenithal technique and your approach to flesh tones. My last few statues have jumped in quality as a result! (not to mention are easier and faster to paint than blending my own shades and highlights on the fly). Cheers!
Good recovery on that base! She turned out really well. I'm frequently surprised at how good your skin tones end up from where you start. It's pretty dramatic.
Just bought some clip things to clip things all over the place and decorate my light stand. Hope you get few cents for that. Your videos inspired me to get a 3d printer and start painting again.
I've had strange success using Home Depot HDX Fast Drying Flat Black spray primer. It's like $3, I bought it to test on bases so I wouldn't waste my expensive chaos black on like rock bases, etc that do not need that kind of protection. I thought it was too good to be true, but I actually really like it
Yea I’ve had some sprays that work great. But it’s just super easy to use citadel for me cos of the shop. And there isn’t any sprays that are that cheap in uk they are so crazy priced here for some reason.
The indepth videos you’ve started on Patreon are really informative. Glad you’re normalizing getting away from Faerie Flesh! It’s damn hard to get it in the US, and I only ever needed one or two bottles. I think I’m going to try and recreate it and refill. They have a certain desaturated look to them that the other fleshtones don’t have. Great vid as always!
@@GroundeffectedWell, a lot of us painting is your fault in general! Thank you as always. Faerie Flesh is definitely a good set and I haven't been happy with variations of it. If I figure out a mix I'll share it on the discord.
Great Job!! Love how you made the energy blade reflect off of her skin! Truly impressive. I have an assorted amount of paints. Fortuhnate for me, a hobby shop in my area have a vast amount of the vallejo paints I can buy individually.
I assume you finally achieve to clone yourself with all the 3d printers you've got, to print paint so much in so few times...your speed skill, even with errors you corrected... awesome !
amazing as always. Simple question, what pressure do you set your airbrush too? I've recently taken to airbrushing and I'm still working out the process.
Beautifully painted statuettes. Would you tell me how to dilute Citadel and Vallejo paints? Distilled water or some thinner that would not clog the airbrush?
I'm an old fashion sketch artist and I have been on the side lines in to getting to 3d printing comic books characters for years, thank to you I have gotten great inspiration with your artwork "superb" from one artiest to another, Thank you greatly. I'll be starting my 3d printing adventure due to your channel thank you so much.
Hey man , i started watching your videos recently and i wish to buy a resin printer for myself because of your videos , they are really fun to watch and i love watching you paint! I also wish to paint some models myself but i have no faith in myself as i never painted before , do you think i should still try or is it really hard for a novice wdyt? Good work btw!!
Yea dude. Go for it. It’s not that crazy. Just watch loads of videos and grab some paint. You can get a free model from most warhammer stores too (it’s a tiny one but it’s a free model)
Question. Ppl says contrast paints are patchy in large areas but i don't see any patches in that flat swimsuit . What's the trick? Also i know you have a Patreon. I own many STL ones. But i never joined a painting one and i don't know what to expect
People say many things. I airbrushed it so it can’t be patchy. With a brush on flat surface it’s not so good. Depends on the colour though. As for patreon. I post behind the scenes, wips and extra videos, well I’ve started to post more. There’s a few extra videos already available as unlisted videos in here but the links are in the patreon. Hope that helps
actually, even the sand makes logic , if the xmen are fighting in a park and someone uses the ice power to raise ice from the ground....i think you get the whole scene :))
Did you use magnets on the head / arms / legs? I've tried doing that with one of mine, but the magnets that would fit were so small they barely keep hold of each other. Any tips for that?
Hello, please make a video of how you paint figurines with latex (how to achieve the shine of latex and highlight all the shadows), and also please show how to achieve the effect of leather clothing on a figurine.
Amazing work, my friend Ricardo from Peach Figure has done great work on this 3D, this level of painting quality made the piece even more beutiful.
Truly did!! I’ve shared him on my stories on Instagram too for anyone who wants to check him out.
She looks beautiful!! ❤❤
yaaa boi like the format of this one
Thanks my gee bruv

Awesome work again. It sucks when you make mistakes but its great to see how you recover from it and make a great peice!!
Mistakes are just a part of every model. I just don’t always remember to film when they happen.
Gorgeous work

@@Groundeffected I wonder if the cost is supposed to be a graffiti deterrent.
Amazing paint job and also the skin tone always!!!!
Thank you.
incredible work! I love how much of your airbrush you use for these. It really makes sense for the size of the statues.
Best part of this video is here 14:45
Absolutely stunning!!! What paint brushes you use?
Why don’t you prime with the airbrush?

I have to admit. I think it’s my fault that fairy flesh is a thing. I will do my best to fix this though.

Um. No. I just dont have friends haha

What pink did you use on her lips and eyes?
Are any of your pieces available for purchase?
The dolphin F off would make a cool t shirt.
Haha it already is a Tshirt.
What 3d printer you using? Want to get a good one
Dope
Awesome job
Your video making skills are ehhh also improving with the new techniques painting eyes
Thanks my dude.
Beautifully painted statuettes. Would you tell me how to dilute Citadel and Vallejo paints? Distilled water or some thinner that would not clog the airbrush?
You should find a Teela/He man or Thundercats statues to Paint!!! that would be DOPE!!!

Hahah sorry not sorry. But also welcome.
How do you do the eye shadow, always been a pain for me
I airbrush it with low pressure and really carefully.

Which color do you use for the lips? A squirrel just asked me that question 🐿️, so if you answer it, that would be helpful for his project 🐿️🐿️🖌️🖌️
Grimoire purple

I do. But I’m this case I glued her. Best advice for magnets is to get really thick ones if they’re small.
Dear instructor, How talk is it?
I used sand
👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏❤❤❤❤❤❤
Thank you for another video Your Dad
psylocke has little balls down there, really nice painting.
I've never painted anything I've printed cause I'm dmto afraid of ruining them
Dude it’s not that hard. First few will look like butt hole but you will progress.
"And I like ex man ladies"
Bro, you are going to LOVE Thailand.
Hahaha as soon as those words came out my mouth I knew this comment was coming.
It's ok dad, don't feel awkward filming, you cleaned my butt for years.
Hah
A moment of silence for the sand users.
15:20 is it just me or those lips slipping out? 😂
I noticed the same thing 🤣👀
She's got a monster Cammy.😂😂
The real Queen of England xd
Not a fan of the way this psylock looks. Great paint job and video. Just not my fav model look
Fair enough!
