Gavin Harrison, Pat Mastelotto and Jeremy Stacey are very good drummers but even together they can't even come close to Mike Giles or Bill Bruford's magic.
It doesn't really matter though. They are doing a triple drum interpretation, not trying to copy note by note. It's actually much more difficult for the three drummers lineup because they have to be careful not to get in each other's way.

Only one video footage, actually. "Cat Food" when they were live in Belgium. You can see Giles and Lake still a member. KC wasn't very well documented in 69-70. Although there are some photos of Giles playing drums for Early KC.
For videos of KC Mk I, there’s not much. There’s a heavily edited-together version of ‘Schizoid Man’ made up of probably a minute and a half of actual video footage from the Hyde Park concert, and a mostly-mimed ‘Cat Food’ from a TV promo performance that’s pretty funny. Of course there’s more live audio from the period, starting with the ‘Epitaph’ set, which is really great, and a full recording from the Hyde Park concert, which was their big stage debut.
Search KC channel on RUclips for the Morgan Studios version of this track. It's a mash-up of a an old recording of Giles' playing with JJ on vocals. Sublime.
FUNNY you mentioned that! In about 1973, (?) I took a vacation with my Brothers from Chicago to Fla. a month late but the only way to get the original tracks extracted from this song is from the rhythm video game Guitar Hero. this track specifically was featured on Guitar Hero 5. in order to isolate the track, the player needs to start up the song with every instrument except for the one that is going to be extracted (example, if you wanna get the drum track, you would load a game with the vocals, bass and guitar.) after that, simply don't play any notes and record the audio. since nobody is playing the guitar, bass or vocal track, only the drums will come through. that was really hard to explain so sorry if i did it poorly
