- Hi everybody, this is Milky. Today, I will share with you my first impressions of the pc version of the very special game that I loved ever since I was young, Harvest Moon Friends Of Mineral Town remake for switch. I can't tell you how happy I am to play this game. This is the first Harvest Moon game I played and the first ever handheld console game I played. I spent so many hours on this game, and it brings back a lot of happy memories. I played the switch version of the game a lot on my channel and I'm super excited to check out the PC version.

My Tips
SAVE in the mines
Start with 4 turnips then Plant 2 Cucumbers and 3 Potatoes on Wednesday Reason for this is Quick Strawberries
Befriend Harvest ehem Nature Sprites ASAP Talk to them as much as possible
There is a Power Berry on your farm While not Major if you can find it you can Water 82 crops in a day... (then hop into the hotspring to heal for a trip to the mines)
Mainly mine on floors B8F or lower (By saving you can find the stairs then Reload for going down fast)
Have an empty tool spot when going into Zack's house on the beach for the first time!
Ship everything you can find on first few days
If you are low on Energy and the INN is open GO DRINK Water... by button mashing for the water you heal 1 stamina for 0 coins and 0 time

for grasses, give the blue grass you get in spring to blueberry (the darker blue one) not aqua (the light blue), the rest can be given to the harvest sprites with corresponding color

bought this game yesterday, and it is really fun, I remember when I was a kid, spend hours playing harvest moon BTN, then crying because I lost my memory card and start over from beginning. Glad you make PC English version, so I can watch your tutorial.
Oh I just found this game is slightly different from harvest moon BTN, I remember when I want to buy cooking utensils I must watch television and order it from telephone, but it is different in story of seasons. I spend hours just to figure it out, LMAO.
Looks like a flashback with new challenges. Your gameplay is so relaxing.
i thought i should of done simple mode, but now that i have cliff secured with his job i can relax and take more of my own time getting affection, raising my animals, farming, and mining. i was so nervous he was gonna leave lmfao luckily got him to blue heart by autumn 14th
so all in all, it’s not too bad. THO gold is pretty tough to get still but it’s finally rolling in lol

If I have 10 Friendship notes on a villager, do I still need to keep giving them gifts even if they’re maxed? What about max friendship bachelors but with orange heart? Yay so glad you’redoing English version!
Once they are maxed, you don't need to keep gifting them. If you haven't talk to them for a while, their relationship with you will drop, and you only need to gift them when it drops😊
About the controls, I had to change them so I would feel more comfortable xD
Sidestep = LShift
Use Tool = Space
Back = Mouse Right Button
Backspace is the worst key they could have chosen xD
I see that you were really struggling with the control. I suggest you changed it to all keyboard and make it similar to switch control. For example:
- W,A,X,D on the keyboard will act as X,A,B,Y on switch control
- Arrow button act as movement buttons
- Q & E will act as tool switch
- Numpad 8,4,5,6 as item switch
-The rest are basically depend on your own comfort
I always get a controller for the computer and play with it instead of the computer controls.

Oh and the reason the names are different is because the original FOMT names wasn't translated properly, they did a better job this time because its closer to the the original Japanese names.

I went down memory lane playing... I’m sad with a few changes like Ann’s name changing to Ran and what happened to the Harvest Goddess festival UwU BUT I love the game so far!

On another note, does it really matter to make your birthday at late season in this game? I had them all at high relationship value before birthday but all I got are tons of letters.
I just recently got this because I love Back to Nature and my at GBA port Friends of Mineral Town. The same thing happened to me at the hospital. I got the medicine cutscene, the rival cutscene and then the Elly and Stu bug scare cute scene. Lol. This game is on point with these cutscenes. First time I got all three at once from Elly.

Are hearts hereditary for your animals? I’m trying to get the max amount of hearts for my cows, sheep, and alpaca but it’s taking forever since they have to birth them for more hearts.
Yep, it's hereditary😊 We just need to keep breeding them in order to get max hearts

Hi Nicolle, haha, I'm so happy that you were able to find where the sprites live through the video. I don't think there is treats for cow in this harvest moon version. And in order to buy pets, you need to unlock Van first. He will sell pets. Hopefully this helps!! 😊

Hmm, sorry to hear that. I went back to the video and checked your comment. I really don't know why you wasn't able to find any stone😭 I checked the hint website I used online, but didn't see any information about it. Since all your stools are blessed, you should be able to find mythic stones...

I know gay marriage is in this game does that include gourmet and kappa and what are their requirements for marriage.
Yep, it's still super hard to marry goddess because we need to do things like ship all items. And yep, we can also marry gourmet and kappa😊 Their requirements are a lot, I will try to gather them and sharing them in a tips video

Definitely recommend, I hate the keyboard! The controller is logical for people used to playing switch too :)
can you please tell me why you scythe the grass in field instead of picking up and shipping it? thank you!
You're more likely to attain the colored grasses for the sprites if you use the scythe instead
Off course! I'm happy to help! I use scythe because then I can get colored grasses and gift then to the harvest spites, and also I get experiences for the scythe😊😊

You can get the water from the little pond on top of the farm by using water can in front of it😊

Hi Milky, are you able to mine mythic ore in this version ? I heard there was a bug that made it not dropping.
Oh no, I hope they fix that bug soon😱 I haven't make far enough in game to get to the mythic ore yet. I will try it out when I do 😊

@@hakhawt8416 It's a (greenish/bluish?) dark orb with dim white sparkle in the middle. I tried mining for it but they said it'll only drop now if you have all blessed tools.

make sure you've done all his heart events! I had the exact same issue with popuri and turns out that I missed an event by mistake! theres a youtube channel that does all the heart events I think its called crestcilia mirae maybe?
Yep, you need to make sure that you saw all his heart events already. I married Cliff in my previous play through, and showed all his heart event if you are interested 💖😊

Van sells them! You have to befriend the harvest goddess in order for him to show up
This is why you want to start giving Harvest Goddess gifts daily from day one :) 30 gifts unlocks Van. He also sells the pets.

For the switch controller, you will need to face the character, hold the gift and use the button you use to talk to them for gifting too. Hopefully this helps!😊

Aww, sorry to hear you horse is taken away from you. You can buy treats from Van and remember to brush your horse daily. That will help increase your relationship with the horse fast😊

You can get recipe by watching TV or get better relationship with people. I will make a tips video for all the ways to get receipes😆 And you can only cook once you get a kitchen.

My advise is when you start the game, Thomas will ask you "Do you want to do a farm?". Just say no and you will finish this game. The end. LOL.

@@MilkyT Luckily, I got this game after finding all 900 korok seed in BoTW, so I decided to play this game. I still in spring 1st year with no interaction with other villager. All I done is find money and enslave harvest spirit to work for me, LOL.
