This worked and Ron finally realized what happened. 7. At the final day, the mom decided to stay home with Ron. However, when she woke up in the day, she didn't see Ron at the dad's bed ('cause he couldn't appear at day time). She searched for him and found him in the closet. As for the medications, she probably thought of his stories as nothing more than just a child's hallucination, hence the 'I don't know what's wrong with you' dialog.
