Welcome to my second "Power of Archetypes" video. In this session I'm going to describe the journey of life via an archetypal view that applies to all of us.
It's not just a journey of empowerment, because that's not a big enough word. It's actually a journey of forming a relationship with power itself. Or of understanding that everything in life, everything, everything we think, every word in our head, every choice we make, every attitude, everything we wear - everything is in fact a power negotiation.
Every single person's life is not a religious journey. It's a spiritual journey. It is an organic progression through how each of us relates to this life that is, in fact, a system of power and whether we feel disempowered by it, what we do to become empowered.

When I was 5 or 6, I remember asking my self that question. What am “I” doing here. Went through life. Sold my power in later yrs. Lost it all. Hemorrhaged my power. Became an alcoholic. I now have almost 2yrs sober. But I struggled to get here. Until (now I know why. Because I got my power back). Started asking my self, what’s the purpose of “THIS” life? I hope to God to keep empowering myself thoroughly and throughout this journey “we call life”. Now, my life, is the best life I could have EVER provided for my self and my well being. And my soul!

Dropping the "my" in what is the purpose of life was, i think, the biggest challenge I faced last year. I was so focused and anxious about myself that i tried to fit into molds i had created that did not necessarily work into or with the world i was living in at large. I'm still at the 8 minute mark but it landed on me and really amazed me how, as you said, detaching one self from the prerequisites one has about their place in the world and their identity really frees you up and opens up the possibility of change and growth. And the emphasis on choice. The power there is in looking at oneself completely and without shame, but with love and compassion, and to realize the power we have over ourselves is astounding. I can't wait to learn more about this. Thank you so much for making these videos. ❤️
You gave me the tools to come through a serious, dedicated attempt by a group of criminals to make me go crazy or kill myself (they were having a ball), bullies at the same time as beating a long term drug addiction.
Came through grateful for the experience.
It was all arrangements of the Divine, to get me to live true to myself and God.
It was the beginning of doing the work .
The Divine arrangement gave me your books when i needed them most.
You got me out of self pity and to begin becoming who i always wanted to be.
To see the situation from a higher perspective.
Led me to service.
And eventually to the path of Bhakti yoga.
Life is now completely transformed. Beyond anything i could have imagined for myself.

I find archetypes fascinating. I am at a point in my own journey where I strongly desire to reach/touch as many as possible to remind us all what powerful creators we are! I feel so much passion about this. My excitement and love are barely containable. I believe I have always held the healer archetype and wonder now if I will be adding teacher. Maybe the teacher archetype has always been part of my journey in small ways, but now it may be taking a front row seat. But I know this is up to the bigger me and the universe as we co-create the life of little me. I am excited to meet the next chapter. It's gonna be a page turner! ❤️☺️😄🤣

I am so thankful for your teachings and that our ego is forever changing, otherwise my self esteem would constantly be one minute in a nose dive and the next, searching for my explanation of why I feel this change. With your guidance and my favorite astrologer, I can honestly heal and understand why it's taking so long. I was on this floor too long, that planet was wanting me to go in a different way, Pluto had to cause a cataclysmic event because I didn't prepare accordingly, I dropped back down to the 2nd floor by allowing an event to crush me, etc. My moon placement is so helpful at one time and then a hindrance in another, I'm a Taurus with an Aries moon. I don’t know how it happened, but I seem to have left the first column very early in life. I think I got stuck in the second column for a long time but I kept thinking that there had to be more to life. I know I’m in the third column now and I’m profoundly grateful.

Does her notion of “power”sound similar to the Chinese philosophical concepts of Qi or Tao to anyone else? They are talking about the same thing just in different language. Love this ❤
Funny.. at the beginning of your video, you said often we ask, "What's the purpose of my life? and then ask what's the purpose of life." The first conclusion I came to when asking what the purpose of my life was is that I don't know... then the very next question I decided would be best to ask is what is the purpose of life. Pretty complex and yet simple. Everyone has different opinions, but they all end up being something to do with emotions. They all want to be happy not to be afraid to have friends, etc... whenever someone has said they have found they're purpose it is usually just a honeymoon phase, or it's something that puts them into a non drama upbeat happy environment type of place and work that they do. But in general, it's a question that everyone asks, just like how do I find my true self... inside that question, pulling out to veiw the whole picture made me realize I am always my true self ill always be me even if I'm always changing I'm still me what makes me me is my words thoughts actions feelings all the way to the core of me in spiritual energy. Only time I'm a false self is when I'm lying to myself or fooling myself. Fooling myself is more often than not something I do, just testing out a method of being a decent person and seeing what the results will be. 😅😅
Anyhow, I just wanted to say I love how you mentioned that, and it was exactly 💯 how it went for me. Well, 99% being that it involved no matter of later on or eventually coming to ask the question what's the purpose of life.
I am understanding. At first I just thought, right, how do you know any of this? After a conversation with a friend I understood the reason for my being more. Listening to this now…. I understand. I accept.
I step off the side of the cliff and fly without feet.
I understand my own sculpture series, Bleeding Wings, more. I kept floundering with that. How could I explain my own art? I couldn’t, I just made it.
My husband passed 10 months ago. I have screamed and cried and isolated myself. Understanding this, I feel as if I can meet the challenge to continue living, because honestly, I have not wanted to. It’s still a challenge but at least I have better understanding. And I can do my art. I’m not sure to what end but I know I need to do it.
My husband stopped using the word “my”, 2 years before he passed. I’m going to try to do that too now.

A way of understanding yourself that is impersonal and cosmic, as well intimate and personal
This is the journey of power.
This is the language of energy
Universal patterns of behaviour
No one owns the archetypes but they affect everyone.
It’s impersonal
But you get to a place where the impersonal becomes a navigating tool of great power, the capacity to see something clearly in a way that does not disempower you, but it helps you understand the power theatre in which you are living and becomes a guide through which you decide what’s a wise choice versus a reactionary choice
When you’re just stuck in the physical world you react all the time
And instead, in the cosmic world you take charge ❤

Love this and all of your work Caroline. One question I have - while I've been at it for awhile, and resonate with your description of the second and third columns (another way of saying, accessing our higher selves), I still struggle so much with my lower three chakras. The necessary reality of being in this world (and maybe not of it!). What advice do you have for appreciating and embracing the "cosmic-ness" of it all; the universality and symbolism of life, AND still navigating our very earthly needs for community/belonging, security, and all?
Caroline, I feel you could benefit from vocal coaching. As a voice teacher I can hear that you are not providing enough breath support as you speak. As a result the sounds isn’t focused high enough and is causing your vocal cords to not close smoothly and they become irritated. The body produces phlegm to protect the cords from the irritation. That is why you keep needing to clear your throat. One quick fix would be to speak in a higher register and be conscious of steadily pushing enough air as you speak. Vocal breathing exercises to train your body to provide steady support would really make a big difference. I love you and your teachings. I hope you will read this and find it helpful
I was always focused on what am I here for, what makes me feel alive and what is my purpose. But I deeply struggle with self esteem so whatever answers came up were blocked by that lack of self esteem and the fear of not being enough and not being able to survive. Kinda strange, because I always knew that stuff won't make me happy, that thats not important. But why am I stuck on the lower level?
