Also waited for your review. A lot of reviewers(?) Fanboy out over a figure and downplay the problems. At least you point out the issues either before you go al fanboy or afterwards, but you do it. Also no noisy and shouty intro's, here. That's also a plus 😁

Why do both the Metamoran Fusion characters have the face issue where it falls out? You’d think they’d want to fix it after what happened with Gotenks
I've gotten this figure like a day after I watched your review. I haven't even open him up. Most likely I won't. After you mentioned his Gotenk face syndrome. It was enough for me. So he's be kept minty.
just gonna hop in and say those pics of gogeta in super Saiyan from the movie were not stills those are in-between frames as the name implies they go in between the key frames. in between frames job is to fill in the gaps between the key frames to make the animation more fluent in regards to movement. they are not all going to look good in fact majority of them don't.
They're still stills. You can find them by simply watching and pausing the movie.
I really miss the blast effects...I'll even take just a ball of energy or something.
A rainbow sphere like he used in the Broly movie and in Fusion Reborn or something would be dope.
Hey, Anthony, would you happen to know how one might go about getting that metallic look that Gogeta's hair has? I've wanted to apply it to some custom Super Saiyan heads and Rosé head, but I have no idea what I'm doing on that. 😂
So what was the difference between the US release and the japanese one?

Any tips to tighten the face or ball joint? Cause I want this figure as my first SH Figurarts but the face falling off is a major disappointment.
Just curious, would the instant transmission hand from SROE Goku fit on this Gogeta? He does used that technique to get to the battle so I am curious if the hand would fit or if it will be stressed for staying on too long or if it can't even fit. Nice review btw, wasn't aware of the face problem but i still prefer it over Gotenks cause it doesn't fall off super easily but still easily.
The balljoint is slightly smaller, but it’ll still click into place and it won’t fall off, so either way you are fine in the swapping department
I don’t have this figure, but wow those leg joints are glorious. I wish current Vegetas could have those kinda leg joints. He could really use those high kicks.
I love the rotation for his torso/hips

I’m getting this for my DBZ collection and the DBZ 3rd party add ons. Not a fan of Super but I’ve gotta have a Gogeta. I’m really hoping we’ll get Super Janemba someday.

Man mine definitely does not have that dark blue shine your Gogeta has on his hair. Kinda sucks since I like the dark blue way more than the flat light blue.

My Gogeta has this thing where the neck peg comes off the neck and sticks to the head whenever I’m trying switch head sculpts, which is super annoying. Would this be considered a QC issue? Anyone else have this happen?

Some NA batches do have the leg breaking off issue. Mine did and many others I’ve seen after the NA release did
I haven't seen any that actually broke. If they're breaking, it's probably user error.

I'm happy with the figure, it does have it's flaws, but I still very much enjoy it.

@PopCulture Crew What does being humble have to do with anything? He wasn’t handed this this product for free, he spent his own money on it. He has every right to share his opinions on it, good and bad. And the negatives he pointed out we’re perfectly valid. I was debating picking this one up, but the head issue and torso gapping have given me second thoughts.

Just got it Saturday and is soooo cool. Jsjsjsjsjs North America is cheaper.
Those stills are terrible examples because they're in-between frames that are shown for less than a second. They're often very rushed and only exist to make the sequence a little smoother, so of course they're going to look bad.
No kidding. I was joking about accuracy and how db designs are less than consistent anyway.
@@AnthonysCustoms oh okay I rewatched that bit and saw you say something about not using stills as examples - I must've missed that the first time. It's just that when you were initially showing the frames you were talking about how bad they were without mentioning they were in-between frames, so I thought you were just bashing the animation. I understand now that's not what you were saying. I suppose I just jumped to that conclusion because I see people using in-between frames as 'evidence' of bad animation so frequently.

The left arm on mine is absurdly tight and the dish soap technique isn't working for me, same with the warm water trick
The only technique using dishsoap is to potentially ruin your figure.
Warm water trick makes POM on POM joints worse. Dish soap isn't a lubricant, it's a cleaning agent. Shoot for something like a PFPE oil, PTFE powder, silicone oil or white mineral oil. Latter two I suggest the least but they are without a doubt much cheaper than the former 2.

That's not counting my model dragon's funko pops and hallo figure's.
I got about 6 shfiguarts if you include my robot damashii.
Then 2 banpresto statues 4 Dragon stars 6 funko pops 2 model dragon's.
Plus 2 hallo figurrs.
But i got a small room.
I'm a grown man and i collect them.
Mainly to hang on to nostalgia.

That being said as long as it brings you some joy don't care what other's think.

3:23-3:34 No, that’s not a still shot, that’s an in-between frame that you get when you go shot for shot in the animation. That bit of animation was done by natoshi shida, one of the most popular dragon ball animators of all time, saying that’s a still, kinda annoys me. I love your channel and I love the review, but if you’re going to talk about animation, at least know what you’re talking about before hand.
