I can totally relate today with his lyrics ... lol ... gotta love John!
I was just on Tybee, and I turn on the TV, and John is playing this song! Makes be so nostalgic . I feel as if I should be doing more with my life. Maybe I will join the Peace Corp., as an RN, maybe I can do some good. I have alot of respect for Mr. Mellencamp. He gives back. He cares about worthwhile endeavors, makes me wanna be a better person listening to the words of his song. Thank you! Lisa from Lighthouse Point, Florida.
Can't get it out of my head. Eerily wonderful.
Just Wonderful.. Thanks John for all the music.. Caught me off guard yesterday morning and played for about 2 hours straight, the melody and Andy York guitar sound just transport you out of this world... Nostalgic to the core
I'm not at this point in life yet but I get closer with each decade that passes.
It comes on fast at the back end...
Been following John since I can remember, and now this song has caught up with me!
Sounds like it was written during an area gone by. Classic Mellencamp.....
Man, I relate to this song lately.
Un rappresentante per il vero cuore dell'America. Viva Johnny Cougar.
For all the J.C.M. fans ,there is a rocumentary that iwas unaware of, "It's About You" (2009), I found it in the Dollar Store..for $1.. it's kinda cool and this performance is included.
Love him.
I Love It John....
Is he playing through the Fender III behind him? Love the sound quality of it regardless!
The other dude's guitar tone is sick. Anyone know who that is?
Andy York!
